Macado's

It wasn’t our first choice for lunch, but it was fine. The food was good enough but some was a bit cold, the staff was busy but kind, and the atmosphere felt friendly, but a bit untidy. I’d probably go there again, and their beer choice was good and reasonably priced. The cinnamon buns are bomb. If you’re in a pinch and need to grab a bite, I’d go, however, probably not my first choice.

Some girlfriends & I were out shopping while visiting the area. It was time for a snack & a beer. They have quite a few things I would have liked to tried out, but appetizers were on our minds at the time. The atmosphere was great. The fresh cinnamon rolls they were making smelled delicious. We sat at the bar, where they had lots of tv’s to watch the games that were on. I will definitely go back for sure to enjoy more of there menu, when I’m in the area.

Staff was very friendly, food was good. Wings were really good, but are breaded so the texture is a little weird at first. The chili however, had about 20+ jalapeños with seeds in one bowl, so be prepared. Tater tots were great and the cheese logs, omg, best fried cheese I've ever had. The breading was crunchy and unexpectedly seasoned perfectly and delicious! The menu was long and they offer a lot of different things. Couldn't find the beer menu anywhere, though. Would definitely go back!

First time visiting this establishment. On the outside of the door they have a sign posted saying please be patient because we are short staffed. The staff was super nice and they made good recommendations on the drinks and food. On Sunday they have 3.50 Bloody Mary's drink specials and .39 cents for boneless wings. I also ordered the basket of pretzels with the beer cheese dip, which was amazing!!!

It’s been about 14 years since I frequented Macado’s back as an AppState student. Stopped in and was surprised to see it renovated! Got a great happy hour deals on pint mug margaritas and tacos. My fiancé also got a burger and thought it was really good. Service was great and quick despite the bar person being the only one managing the bar and the bar side of the restaurant. Really good spot for a wideeee variety of sandwiches and beer. A go-to 14 years ago and a go-to now. Wish we had had room for the infamous cinnamon roll!

My husband and I love coming here. We have been coming here for over 30 years. We love how they kept the same feel from our college days through the renovations. Mike Bosse has always been a great manager and has put a lot into this. We had the pleasure of meeting Austin and Ben today! Excellent service!! Very clean. We had the Jamaican Jerk Wings and Thai Chili with hot sauce and fries. Ben had more tables come in but killed it. Enjoy the photos! See you soon!

The wait was not as long as we were told so that was good. My daughter and I both enjoyed our sandwiches. I got the Barnyard with chicken, egg, and bacon on sourdough. So many great choices in sandwiches. It was hard to choose. Service was good. My daughter like the macaroni salad but I thought it was too dry. Overall, I would definitely return next time we’re in Boone.
