Pita Loco

Healthy, Yummy, Quick & Vegetarian/vegan friendly. Love this place! right next to FAU off glades and 2nd great location with friendly owner who is often at the restaurant. There are a few chairs and tables to sit and wait or eat on site. Prices are fair and the quality of ingredients is excellent :). My new lunch/dinner spot in east Boca.

We were cruising down Glades road and spotted this place. Decided to give it a chance and dine it for a quick lunch. Had the pleasure of dealing with Eli, who also cooked these Chicken Shawarma wraps. Nonetheless it was a great choice to come in. Food was hot and healthy. Great authentic taste. Give it a try! We will be coming back. Eli was very helpful and nice. Thanks again

I found this place as I was looking for a Mediterranean place close to work. I went to pick it up and when I got there it was only two guys working, one at the register and the other one cooking. They were overwhelmed although it was only a couple of people there. To be honest, I was skeptical, and even tough about going elsewhere, but decided to wait. Thank God I waited! The food was delicious and the price was great! So, the bottom line is "It was worth the wait!"

I am really sad about my experience with this place. After searching for about 20 minutes for a decent Mediterranean restaurant near my work I found this place on Google maps. I get into the place and explained to the guy that is my first time and I'd like to look over the menu. I expected him to be like oh well welcome, but I did not even receive a welcome when I entered the door so I don't know why I would have expected that. After telling him this is my first time and I want to review the menu he then goes to the back of the store and tells me to holler when I'm ready. After about three minutes he comes back out and asked me what would I like. I told him I want a chicken pita, at this point a lady walks in and it's like I'm here for a pick up. He stop serving me then goes and makes her order and serves her and checks her out all this time I'm standing there. At this point I already wanted to walk out but I wanted to give the food a chance. As much as I would like to bash the food I will say after I heated it up it wasn't disgusting. The vegetables were pretty wilted and the chicken was cold as was the pita so I had to microwave it when I got to work to make it edible but the flavor was still there. All in all I will never go here again service is very important to me and it was terrible.

First off I do want to mention that the food was very good! I got the beef shawarma combo w/ (fries and drink) However the male cashier with black glasses was rather rude and unprofessional.He rang up my order and threw down the receipt and pen at me and didn't say anything like ( could you please sign this and then I realized he rang me up incorrectly and charged me too much. I mentioned this and He asked me if I wanted the money back that He over charged me and I said of course... Keep in mind that it was a small a small difference but I would have gladly put in there tip jar...but the way he responded after I said yes to getting my overcharged amount I kept it... so after the order I went to get my soda and I heard the guy mutter under his breath cheap a#%.... I ignored it and sat down. I opened up the soda while I waited for the rest of my order...there are several other people in the restaurant as well and the cashier throws the food on the counter and mutters food.softly under his breath... I say is that mine, he says yeah and as I go to get it he say hold on there are no fries I forgot...Several time he mentioned it to the other employees..oh I forgot... all in a matter of 3-4 minutes of ringing me up and then as I left I thanked them and said have a great day and The cashier looked at me like I had destroyed his day and looked mad at me. Main point: Good food but please get a new cashier he's ruining the image of your establishment coming off as rude and unprofessional

I come here as often as humanly possible. Eli makes INCREDIBLE food. My fiancé loves it. My family loves it. My best friends love it. I have brought them all here. The pita bread is PHENOMENAL. The chicken is spiced perfectly. And they have a garlic sauce you want to slather on anything and everything. Make sure you try the pastries too. Those lady fingers are out of this world. 5 stars is not enough.
