Unassuming from the outside. Housed in an old cinema the inside is great. Plenty of seats, usual good beers and prices. Table service was very good.

Probably my most impressive Spoons. Well done that man (who can shoot himself in the foot occasionally) for rescuing a classic art deco building. Mr Spoon also needs a cheer for cheap food and booze for the people. 2 good guest ales and the regulars. Brilliant carpet. Fabulous attention to the restoration period details. Puts Blyth on the map. Is it in the Camera Heritage guide? If not, it should be.

An absolutely amazing place!
Wetherspoons food is OK but excellent value.
This was a picture house and the Art Deco style is just stunning.

Only marked it down a little on atmosphere as it was really really busy. Having said that the food was nice, made and served relatively quickly. Very good value for money will definitely be back

The building is surprisingly beautiful and they have managed to keep the feel of an old cinema whilst modernising it! The disabled facilities were accessible and clean.
Where this place let's itself down is in atmosphere. There's no atmosphere, or background music. Whilst we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the building we were not so much with the staff and service.

An absolutely smashing conversion of a 30's art deco cinema into an excellent Wetherspoons pub. Really spectacular inside with many features renovated and now included into the pub. Comfortable to eat and drink...even better the food was good, and hot! Decent attentive staff. All round winner. Do not miss if you are in Blyth.
