Starbucks

It’s a pleasant atmosphere with a little less of the liberal Starbucks feeling, but they are never reliably open. You might come at 2:00 PM on a Tuesday and see a ripped piece of notebook paper that says “due to unforeseen circumstances we’ve close at 12:52 today.” I’m getting tired of driving just to have it closed.

Driving through Bloomington on my way to Columbus. Placed a mobile order at around 7:50pm. Store was advertised as being open until 8:30. I arrived at 8:11pm to pick up my order of 3 drinks and the door was locked. Drive through was blocked. I called the store and was told they had closed at 8. When I asked how I’m supposed to get my order or refund, was told I’d have to wait until the next day. When I said I was from out of town, employee said I could contact another store. He then hung up because he said I was “rude and disrespectful.” When I called back to speak to manager, the same person answered and when I said I’d like to know how to get my refund he said he wouldn’t answer that because I was “rude and disrespectful.” Then I call again, the same person answers, and identifies himself as Troy, the manager. I’m trying to figure out how a paying customer who doesn’t receive the goods they purchased is the “rude and disrespectful” one. Shame on you Starbucks for poor customer service.
