Bennett's Bread & Bbq

Such a cute local find! All of the food was tasty and delicious — we had ribs, pulled pork, corn bread, mac & cheese, and collard greens (those impressed me the most as they naturally taste bitter) and the portions are generous. Aside from all of the amazing soul food, it was such a pleasant surprise to find such warm smiles and hospitality!! My family and I will be back again.

This is my first time ordering from here. I ordered the meat combo - sausage/ribs/chicken and that was really good. The Mac and cheese was a bit bland. I will attempt to save it by adding some seasoning and a little more butter and I’m sure it will be ok. The greens were good, not enough seasoning though. I will splash a little vinegar and red pepper flakes and again I’m sure it will be fine. I also ordered the cornbread, I’m from the Texas, so it wasn’t as sweet as I would have liked, but still moist and edible. All in all, I had it delivered and everything was HOT not “warm” which I really appreciated. I can see occasionally ordering from here.

Ordered from here tonight because of all the fabulous reviews I read. My husband and I just moved to the area, we picked up and by the time we got home the food was spilling in the bag the carton had broken due to all the weight of the food the rice was cold and filled with BBQ sauce from the chicken the chicken was also cold and some pink...unedible the baked beans was filled with pepper completely unedible I spit it out.. the corn bread was very hard and dry couldn't eat it let's just say 16 dollars of expensive unedible food in the trash
