I used the drive thru early on a Thursday morning. There were a few cars ahead of me but they moved quickly. Staff was very friendly and personable. I was through the line quickly and I got my drink. They put little stickers on the top of my drink, which was a nice touch.

My sister and I found the Black Mountain Starbucks on a busy tourist day. We ordered our drinks: Mocha Cookie Crumble & Caramel Ribbon Crunch. When my sister sipped her drink, she was unhappy. It didn't taste right. I took the two back to the counter. The manager immediately noticed that it was not what she ordered. A correct one was made(no $) and my sister was thrilled by the service. So was I.

Always consistent with my last minute coffee blast, drive thru or order in of line is long. If you are a hater it's because you don't order the blonde roast espresso.........

This is one of my favorite places to stop along i40! The employees always make my coffee quickly and are kind. And they have clean restrooms!
It's also easy to get on and off i40 without too much trouble, so that my stop is quick and I am back on the road in no time.
