Really nice vibe to this place, the guy that served us was lovely and very knowledgable about his menu. Ordered loads of small side dishes (that turned out to be big!) on nice plates! Very well presented, good food.

This place was the cutest! My friend and I went in to order a takeaway, and it exceeded our expectations! The entrance is as you'd expect on South Street, and you go upstairs, which leads you into a lovely restaurant. The staff were so friendly and even gave us a free soft drink whilst we were waiting for our food.
We ordered a vegetable dhansak and saag paneer with a portion of rice and garlic naan to share. We ended up with a couple of free poppadoms, too! The food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Would definitely recommend it!

This is such a lovely place. We ordered for takeout tonight and it was absolutely delicious. They were so nice when we arrived and just made the overall experience very nice. I can’t wait to come back!

We tried here after we were recommended by a friend. The food was stunning. Everything we had was flavourful l, well cooked and so tasty. Best take away curry we have had in a long time. On delievery we did have a slight error with the order which the restaurant sorted straight away. The manager who called us back to sort the issue was polite, friendly and apologetic. Fantastic service and will be ordering from here again.

Would give it more than 5 stars if I could; everything was perfect. The restaurant was beautifully and tastefully decorated for Valentine's night with all the ladies being given a red rose before their meal. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. Only wished we lived nearby so we could visit again.

This is an absolute delight! The favour, spices and the service! Harborne Tandoori Restaurant is a gold mine! We came here back at the end of September and came back today because it is just that good! We had the lamb chops (undoubtedly the best ever tasted, well seasoned to the bone!), the chicken korma, the butter chicken (both creamy with pilau rice, peshwari naan, chapati, garlic naan and bhindi bhaji - all fantastic!!! This will be a regular place to visit when we just want some good soul food at excellent prices! Rabz's customer service goes above and beyond! Even though there were others in the restaurant, he makes you feel like you the only ones in the restaurant, complete attention!
Make this a visit and a regular spot for you and your love ones!

Very tasty indeed, I had: poppadoms, lamb tikka, aloo bombay, and mushroom rice. Dishes or similar I have eaten many many times before and in many different places. What made this special and 5 stars was the mix of spices in the onions, the depth of flavour in the lamb and spiced potatoes. Very very good. Popadoms were normal, but then they came with 6 different toppings. The boss was very friendly and helpful. All good. Thanks.

Having enjoyed a delivery from here I decided to try it in person to see if it really was as good as good as it seemed to be. I was not disappointed.
The welcome, ambiance and service were all conducive to a good experience. The menu contains the usual suspects plus some dishes I'd not seen before.
The Onion Bhajis were first rate - nicely cooked with wonderful spicing. I the chose prawn dupiaza and pilau rice. The dupiaza was beautifully sweet and sensitively spiced with the right amount of onions.
I'm sure I will be returning.
