Applebee's

Well, this was a 1st day to our new home in MI. Haven't been to Applebee's in over 4 years. Use to go all the time at least 4 times a month in numerous states. North Carolina was the only state I didn't care to go to Applebee's, not even for my free meal on Veteran's Day. The quality of food and service down south is totally different from up north. I'm a northerner, and I do not like down south. Anyway, going to this Applebee's was a long time waiting for great service and food!!! I really missed it. Thank you, Applebee's staff. Our waitress was super 👌. Shout out to Johniece she was great. Attitude, friendliness, and personality on point!! She worked hard with ease, she knows her job and enjoys what she does. Thank you! The spicy full rack ribs were so tender,melted off the bone, mash 🥔 s very buttery, coleslaw wa actually good, I mean not like mines, but was not dry good flavor. Thanks Applebee's for a wonderful visit. I haven't done it in a long time, but now that I've moved out of the horrible south. I can once again enjoy AB. My soul and stomach were very 😊. 2nd time, here Tuesday 25 July2023 is for late lunch. It was our waitress Meril's 1st day. She did great. Thankyou Meril, you will be a great addition to the Applebee's family. Staff was great as always. The classic cheese burger with Applewood bacon was juicy and fulfilling. This Army Veteran was very pleased with the food and service. Thankyou. Veteran's Day November 2023. Really enjoyed my meal of choice; sirlion steak with broccoli and mashed potatoes. It's great to see Applebee's honors us veterans. Appreciate ii, AB. The staff was awesome as usual. Thanks to Natalie, the new lady, for being a great server. The atmosphere was good. The wait for a table was 20 minutes, but it was worth it. Thank you for the gift card. I'll definitely be using before it's expiration date in December 2023.😋 1 Dec.2023 back again. Love the new holiday dishes. Nice choice. I wish they had a combo plate with the double crunchy shrimp& ribettes. That would be awesome. Anyway, the food was great. Had to send my 8oz steak back because I asked for well done, but was given a medium well. Yuck, I don't know how people eat it with blood still present. Hope our waitress was super awesome and patient. The staff is always welcoming. The atmosphere was cool. Really enjoyed my time out. By the way, when they say add mozzarella sticks for .50. Do note it's just for 1 stick. Such a tease! Go ahead and order 10 sticks for $5, which is cheaper than the appetizer, which is more for only 8 mozzarella sticks. I'm just saying. Do the math!!!

A good restaurant for some decent food. It's a typical dine in restraunt (with take out via DoorDash as an option). The service is usually above average, some days you may be waiting for food for an extra amount of time, but that's them being busy usually. (Side note: I recommend their 2 for $20 menu option. 2 dishes and an apetizer I believe, great meal for 2 people!)

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Applebees- Big Rapids, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. Our server, Johniece, went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. From the moment we were seated, Johniece exuded warmth and professionalism, making us feel welcome and attended to throughout the evening. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, providing insightful recommendations and ensuring our dining preferences were met with enthusiasm. Now, let's talk about the star of the show – the unlimited riblets. They were nothing short of a carnivore's delight. Each succulent bite delivered a perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness, showcasing the chef's expertise in preparing this classic dish. The unlimited aspect allowed us to indulge in this savory goodness to our heart's content, and it truly felt like a feast tailored to meat lovers. To complement the delightful meal, the Mountain Dew bash was a refreshing and lively addition. The effervescence of the soda paired perfectly with the rich flavors of the riblets, creating a satisfying harmony of taste. Overall, Johniece's impeccable service combined with the mouthwatering unlimited riblets and the Mountain Dew bash made for a memorable dining experience that I will undoubtedly savor in my culinary memories.
