Bright, clean and welcoming!
Staff have a smile and the counter was loaded with freshly cooked fish, chips and sausages, everything else is to order.
Dine in option next door. A proper lovely chippy!

The only chippy in Bideford with great food and long queues. I ordered using the click & collect. My food was well cooked and great service.

I'm incredibly fussy when it comes to chips, I rarely find chips that I like, but these were amazing. So much so I went back and got another portion on another day. The shop looks bright and clean, there is seating available but I prefer to eat chips outside as I think they taste better!! If I'm around Bideford again I would definitely get my chips from here.

Stopped by on a whim the restaurant was spotlessly clean, we were served without being fussed over, food arrived quickly and the fish and chips were some of the best I've had in a long time.

This is without a doubt the best cod and chips I have ever had. And so reasonably priced. Very busy restaurant with lots of nice staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant. Fabulous.

Stopped by this chip shop for lunch after reading some good reviews and were not disappointed! A lovely clean, modern eating area with a welcoming waitress made for a faultless lunch. 2 x Special Fish n Chips (cod, chips, mushy or garden peas) also a pot of tea or brewed coffee for £12.50 per head. Great portions, freshly cooked, not dry or greasy, melt in the mouth batter……could not have been improved upon! Myself and hubby gave this a 10 out 10. Delicious tasting coffee too. Unfortunately we do not live in the area but we would definitely recommend.

I was very impressed by this establishment. I went on a busy Friday night with a lot of customers. There was a large number of very friendly staff who dealt with the orders extremely quickly. The fish and chips were excellent.

Nice chips. Good service. Busy, but then it usually is at lunch times. Friendly staff and not too much of a wait in the busy period I went in.

We'll always pay a visit to Mr Chips when in Bideford, can get busy but worth the wait, I feel the prices are reasonable and you get your money's worth. Good online ordering service as well.
Top tip for the summer, take your Mr Chips to nearby Victoria Park to eat and after, get dessert from the Hockings ice cream truck that's there!
