China River is pretty much the only Chinese restraunt my family and I ever eat at. Their combination plates are especially a great deal. There really has ever been anything I've tried from there that I didn't like. To top it off the staff is always very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

I got an appetizer platter for lunch - everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. It came with a lot of food - egg rolls are how I can judge a place, and these were crunchy and tasty. Again - everything was great.

A very nice simple restaurant in Beverly, MA. Mostly for take out but you can dine in.
Quick service and good portions for the price. Good place if you want to have a quick freshly cook meal.
You can watch the chef too. A rare sight for a take out joint.

I'm sorry. But u can look at my other emails here and see I always leave a great review for China river. TONIGHT'S FOOD. WAS BLAH. NO SEASONINGS WHATSOEVER. I don't understand what's up. Bit I was looking forward to a dinner from my FAVORITE PLACE tonight. I take 1 bite of house rice and it's like wait a min. It taste no different then water. So I try the shrimp n lobster sauce . Same thing. Chicken wings and chic fingers. SAME THING. IT ALL TASTED EXACTLY THE SAME. LIKE WATER. WOW. WHAT A WASTE OF 27.95. SORRY CR. BUT IT'S THAT 👎 BAD 👎 😕 😔 😞 😪 😒 👎 😕 😔 😞 😪 😒 👎 😕 😔 😞 😪 😒 👎 😕 😔 😞 😪 😒 👎 😕 NO STARS

I already bought fried rice and it was very good. But I confess that the appearance of the employees and the place makes us insecure about hygiene. So if you think about it, it's hard to buy again, unfortunately! The place has a lot of potential to become beautiful and attract the attention of customers positively.

I am extremely impressed. China River has literally the tastiest Chinese food I've ever eaten. I never used to like Asian fare but their food is spot on with my palate. Delivery is insanely fast and prices are affordable. It's hard not to get take out more than once a week for me now!
