We had a positive experience eating lunch here on a trip to the Poconos. The soup and sandwich combos we had were prepared quickly and delicious. We shared a fresh chocolate chip cookie. The restaurant and restrooms were clean, and the staff friendly.

Stopped in at this location for a take out order. Service was fast and friendly and the restaurant was clean and neat. The food was excellent , hot and fresh, as always with Panera. Staff is helpful and eager to assist customers . I was very pleased.

Got home with my takeout order and discovered my sandwich was missing and the soup wasn’t even close to being full. When I went back to question the manager he said he wasn’t going to comment and that he sees how much they put in and it’s more than that. He basically called me a liar to my face. I was completely appalled by his lack of professionalism. Giving me a sandwich and a refund doesn’t wash away the bad taste this experience left in my mouth.

Not clean.
Unfortunately, this location is simply not managed properly as it is not clean. I often go right at opening and the tops of trash cans are sticky and putrid, same with the area around and underneath the soda fountain and sometimes the floors look OK but most of the time they are pretty grimy. The glass doors look like they have not been cleaned in months and honestly, the whole location looks like it could be shut down for a proper deep clean.
We are a young family of 5 who would be good customers for years to come - I would love to see the location turn around and become what it could be - a clean, reliable, profitable family bakery where people go to again and again.

Very disappointed with my sandwich at the Bethlehem PA Panera. I ordered an over easy egg, bacon, and cheese on brioche. No bacon, egg was completely hard boiled, and sandwich was over toasted. I did a rapid pickup so didn’t see my sandwich until opening it on the road during a car trip.

We had a large pre-order for 12:00 rapid pick-up that was 40+ minutes past pick up time. We waited nearly 50 minutes to get the order which appeared to be laughable to the staff despite doing all the proper protocol for pre-order pick-up and paying in advance. The fact that their was no apology or empathy is disappointing from a customer service standpoint for an order of 12+ sandwiches/salads all with sides.
Will go to another Panera next time to feel like my business is appreciated.

We were waiting for some time for someone to take our order (no one was in line but us). They forgot to ask us if it was for here or to go and wasn’t very nice. Food was good though!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but enough bad experiences at this location in recent months has caused me to do so. I typically order online. If it's a single item, the pick up time is 5-10 minutes. This tells me that the food is pre-made & heated up when the order comes in. That's fine, because the food quality is pretty good and it's convenient. The problems start when you add extra items. The wait time can go from 5-10 minutes to an hour. I understand the possibility of staffing issues making a person wait longer, but how does adding 2 additional sandwiches, prepared the same way, add that much time? To make matters worse, when you arrive in an hour, your order is not ready. I have waited an average of 20 minutes over the expectation while 4 staff members talk amongst themselves at the counter. Last night was a simple order. It was ready quickly, but 2 cookies and the breadbowl from the "breadbowl mac & cheese" was missing when I got home. I even asked the counter worker if it was all ready & she nodded dismissively. This place is expensive for what it is, but it was my choice to go there. The lack of attention to detail and the complete lack of customer service means I won't be back.
