Great local place. Doesn’t pretend to be anything it isn’t. Owner / manager Hazem (or Hazim) is very kind and thoughtful. He is a worldly man with many interests and a big heart. I enjoyed my large latte, and my partner enjoyed her hot chocolate (and is a regular here). Would definitely recommend!

Casual place for lunch and brunch. I love their quinoa bowls and fresh juices. I'm vegan so finding a place that not only has options for me but it's also healthy is hard. Will be back.

It's OK. Owner was a nice guy, polite, Coffee is fine, had a cup of drip. Atmosphere is loud refrigeration from drink coolers, and the place could use a cleaning, the pastries were in saran wrap from yesterday. Had a good walk getting here.

Love the heck out of this place! Hazem and Mudrakers are a real find. Ample outlets at every table and where else can you get a student-friendly coffee, massive salad with meat & cheese and Middle Eastern platter for around $20? Great for study, meetups & chatting. Have gluten-free options as well!

A favorite when I'm in the nearby! Peaceful, healthy made-on-the-spot sandwiches with greens on the side (and other choices) plus yummy snacky-desserts and always-good coffee. Engaging works by local artists on the walls. The proprietor may not say much, but if you're one who listens to life, his every action seems to me to speak volumes. I always feel restored after taking a break there, and even when it gets busy again as we emerge from the shutdowns, I remember that the wonderful vibe was unshakeable.

Terrific falafel w/ hummus pita sandwich lunch, friendly staff and bonus, a clean bathroom! Enjoyed my lunch, portion included lots of fresh salad greens. I wasn't a fan of the taste of their drip coffee.

I don't do reviews but this please deserves one. I walked in there a month ago and meet the most charming and witty small biz owner. He had me laugh. I came for coffee but got great energy. This place is way off my route, but I'll make it a point to come back when I return to California.
