Very relaxing. I ordered a mocha frapp and it was very good! Had wifi and outlets !

The latte was excessively bitter and the croissant somewhat stale. Would prefer to walk a block over to another local cafe.

Very average coffee. But the guy behibd the counter is nice. There's a restroom too. Decent place to lay your things out and study.

Theoretically a nice place to hang out and study, but the owner (?) that decides to close the cafe early (at 6 instead of 9 pm) throws you out, 10min after you ordered your coffee. But not by telling you that he will close - no. He turns on club-like music at a deafening volume.
That's just really not a way of treating paying customers!

Good coffee, reasonably priced bagels and cream cheese. I'm not a fan of the pastries, and maybe they are good. Good music and a place to do some work on your laptop. Lots of open windows, and the street side seating is decent , but only a handful of tables for 2.

Surprisingly affordable and delicious sandwich for downtown Berkeley.
Service was transactional but not unfriendly.
I recommend the focaccia.
The drip coffee was what you'd expect; I should've gone with an Americano.
They have wifi!

Perfect place to study or get some work done. Great coffee and lattes. Great service, friendly staff. Free WiFi with plenty of power cords available for customers to plug into at their individual tables separated by tall plants for privacy. The entire feel of the place is geared towards students and homework/studying.
