The place has both indoor and outdoor seating with good ambiance. The service is also good, no doubt, but food was little let down. We ordered Ebony's Ultimate Butter Chicken and Dilliwala Tawa Paneer along with assorted bread.. The taste was okish and the quantity was also less as compared to price. But this is just my opinion , may be others find everything good here.

Amazing place with swift service and delicious food and great ambience. People really need to discover and frequent this place. They could work on extending their vegetarian menu but everything we ordered in veg and non veg was delicious. Foodies: rush to this place n review it. You'll love the experience. Very courteous service as well and they made us coffee after 11pm which was way beyond their closing time. Extra cookie points for this. #Localguide

What more can I say about Ebony that has not been told in the last 26 Years of their glorious existence in Barton Center. It’s A Place Every True Blue Bangalorean Has Visited For The Food & The Views From Barton Center. But I can definitely write to change the misconception that it’s a buffet place that caters with a wide range of popular cuisine with amazing views. It is, but not many people know the legacy of the place specialising in Parsi, Konkan, Arcot & Nawabi Cuisines. Thanks to the chefs, family members and managers who grew up with such amazing cuisine memories & influenced the menu over the years of their association with Ebony. Their new restaurant Ebony in Whitefield, chooses to celebrate these wide cuisines and celebrating the employees and family members who brought amazing dishes to us, through Ebony. First, the decor is fabulous, bringing in a old world colonial charm with cement tiles, duck egg white walls, dark teal furniture, amazing bay windows, with a indoor & outdoor seating. The menu is something to cherish for, simple, rustic & a back story to some of the fabulous dishes that are celebrated here. Let me jump right into the food, while sipping my Virgin Colada spiked with curry leaves & crushed black pepper [BTW The Drink Was Amazing] I started off with a yummy Mushroom Galouti Kebabs On A Ulta Tawa Parantha. These Melt In Your Mouth, Smoky, Tangy & Delicious Kebabs were delicious, albeit a little chunky. My First Time Having Kakori Kebabs And Am Glad I Had It Here In Ebony. Just Fell In Love With These Soft, Melt In Your Hand, Dissolve In Your Mouth Texture, Which Is Something Unheard Of, Even In A Galouti! This Was An Absolute Delight To Have And I Believe Truly This Is How Kakori Kebabs Are Made. This Unique Patiala Talli Kukkad. This Hot N Spicy Punjabi Tikka spends double time in the tandoor, first time to cook the tender meat through, a second time with a crispy coating for a nice fried chicken layer in the Tandoor without a deep fry. Unique, Crispy, Tasty Tikkas, another must try here Next I tried the, Arcot Mutton Chops. Beautiful Slow Cooked Triple Mutton Chops in a simple Arcot Mudaliar spice mix, finished off in a tawa with homemade ghee. Bold flavours on lamb, loved every bite of this delicious lamb preparation. For mains I was recommended The Mudaliar Prawn Pulao. Succulent Prawns Tossed In A Pepper Gravy And Topped With Light Fluffy Flavoursome And Fragrant Rice. The Style Is More Like A Pulao But The Flavour Profile Can Beat Any Biriyani Variant. A Must Try Here At Ebony With The Tomato Thokku Served Alongside. With very little room for dessert I still braved myself into trying the House Made Tender Coconut Soufflé, a recipe perfected over 22 years. Nice and Firm soufflé With the required Tender Coconut Hit, with a base of jaggery (Palm variant I suppose) and Toasted coconut shards, with a topping of hot caramelised Kerala nendram bananas, I was on tropical paradise heaven, perfecto on a plate. I can’t recommend this place more, this place celebrates food in its many forms, Course after course serving only delicious food of excellent taste & quality. If you love food just be here and they will wow you with their delightful creations. It would take at least a few visits for me to explore their entire menu & start ordering my favourites, again and again.

Excellent place. Visited the place with family on Diwali and it was pretty empty at 1pm. Starts getting crowded post 1.45 or so. Bar menu has only wine and wine based drinks. Kumarakom mocktail we ordered was quite refreshing. We also had the Murgh yakhani shorba which was not bad at all. Kakori kebabs were out of the world and is something you should definitely try. We were extremely confused seeing the multiple options for main course but we finally went with Bohri dabba ghosht. It was a nice mutton curry which was cooked with cheese and macaroni pasta. The Persian bread Taftoon went very nicely along with it. Would definitely revisit this place when my taste buds long for Indian food again :)

I have always loved this place when it was in mg road, and now it has come with another fine dining restaurant on varthur road. It has both indoor and outdoor sitting, i loved the indoor sitting more because of the colonial decor and nice interiors with perfect color matching with walls, table cloth and serving dishes. The service was also very good, they take great care so that the guests are comfortable and satisfied. Coming to the food they have amazing spread of north indian, chinese , thai and burmese. Some of the best thing i had were: 1. Paneer tikka : cooked with some amazing flavors. 2. SALONEE BROCOLLI: best dish i had and loved the taste to the core. 3. Khow Suey: just perfect i would surely go here again for this. 4. Dal makhani, paneer tikka masala and malai kofta: loved these to the core amazing taste of all three. 5. Chocolate Moksha: This was just amazing combo with choco lava cake with caramel salted ice cream. perfect bled of flavors. A must go place with your family or friends or even with your special someone.

Ebony- the much famed restaurant on MG Road has opened its second outlet at Whitefield. Surrounded by greenery on all sides, this restaurant located on 1 st floor just above Toscano serves some of the best dishes in town. Currently they have a license to serve Wine and also you need to try their just too perfect Mock tails The ambience is done to great perfection and the moment you step in- you tend to get relaxed. The ambience speaks volumes about the Owners passion in getting this picture perfect place. The Service is amazingly fast, the Servers here are ready to go the extra mile in keeping the patrons happy. The Manager ensures that all the patrons have a good time here. The Mocktails tried were- 1.Sheherzade-Muddled WaterMelon,Mint and Basil served cold. A perfect way to start the afternoon The Appetizers- 1.Salonee Broccoli- am averse to this particular vegetable, yet ended up eating two bites...try it to believe it 2.Shahi Khumb Galouti- Oh my good....A perfectly done dish... no comments. MUST TRY 3.Salt & Pepper Lotus Root- Good 4.GunPowder Eggs- this dish shows the Chefs creativity. The humble boiled egg deep fried with batter and sprinkled with fun powder along with sliced onions too going through the same process 5.Kakori Kebab- just done right 6.Akasaka Prawns- Foodies, take note.... perhaps the best have had till date and highly recommended both on taste and presentation 7.Thai Crispy Lamb- felt was little bit of a dampener and could have been better The Main Course- 1.Assorted Bread and Steamed Rice 2.Nalli ka Salan- a dish which takes about 8 hours to cook on slow fire and is worth the taste. Chef, take a bow-for you just raised the bar in taste of this wonderful dish. 3.Mrs.Palekars Saraswat Prawn Curry- a taste as good as HEAVEN ON EARTH.... went absolutely fine with steamed rice. The rich taste of the curry just explodes on your tongue...WOW😋 The Desserts 1.Malai Kulfi- a Dessert which can never go wrong. Absolutely delighted to have it here. 2.Chocolate Moksha with Salted Caramel Icecream- different yet good 3.Tender Coconut Souflfle- a dish that helped us carry sweet memories of the afternoon. Wound up the day with a wonderful cup of Jasmine Tea. A meal for 2 would cost around Rs 1500-2000/- with a couple of Mocktails. Both Cards and Cash accepted Reservations mandatory Kid friendly Restroom well maintained Parking both free and paid available although I suggest you to opt for the paid parking. Lift not available As of me, would definitely go back for more.... Good luck to all the hard working souls out there

EBONY - 26 years of Culinary experience of Bangalore in one Roof One of the most famous & celebrated restaurants in Bangalore EBONY has come up with their new branch in Whitefield to showcase their flavors & tickle the taste buds.. Been there recently with family for my birthday dinner.. I'm pretty happy that i selected a good place to spend time with my family for dinner. Located in Miraya Rose , Siddapura - 2nd floor , This newly built place comes with nice decor with a mix of modern & classic touch... Dim lighting just needed to make the place a edgy touch to make it a peaceful lunch/dinner meal for occasions. They do also have open outside seating as well. #Tomato Drumstick Rasam : Is definitely must recommended. With rains regularly around the city, i thoroughly loved the peppery hot rasam.. #MustTry #Subz ka Sheekh : Mildly spiced sheekh kebab with lots of veggies in it.. Smooth & delicate. #Patiala Talli Kukkad : One of the best Chicken Tikkas i had in recent times.. Succulent & juicy.. with lots of spices but doesn't over power at all.. each bite of the meat has its kick of it, esp the outer layer #Kakori Kebab : Just Meat, nothing else.. lamb grounded to perfection..melts in the mouth #Haleem with Sheermal : Lucky to be visiting the place when the Ramzan is happening.. tried chicken haleem with sheermal.. accompanied with fried onions, diced ginger n chillies, lemons.. just loved the consistency of the dish. #Prawns cooked in Mustard curry : Never had this dish, but glad i tried it.. Mustard is not too overpowering as requested.. went well with the bread.. Prawns were big & yumm. #Bhojpuri Aloo gobi : Loved the flavour of this dish.. Worth giving a try in veg menu... Event though it doesnt look like the normal aloo gobi which i thought... went good with the roti Desserts : #Chocolate Moksha : Baked chocolate fondant is served along with caramel ice cream.. served in a cup makes it cuter :) #Qubani ka Trifle Pudding : Apricot is well used with rice custard.. Mild in sweetnesss #Tender Coconut Souffle : Not a big fan of coconut in desserts, but this is well made.. grated coocnut layer adds a nice character in this dessert.. must try Nothing went wrong in my dinner & the service is just on the point.. service staff is courteous and attentive.

I have been a frequent visitor of Ebony located in the Barton Center of M.G.Road. They serve Parsi, Konkan, Arcot & Nawabi cuisines with 26 years of expertise. Recently, I visited their whitefield branch. Ambiance: The decor looks great with subtle colors, blue walls, dark wooden furniture with both indoor & outdoor seating. Service: Staff were very courteous and friendly. Service was quick and fast. Food: Murgh Yakhni Shorba: Chicken broth infused with Kashmiri spices and enriched with Almond Milk. I never like soups, but this was the best soup I ever had. Dahi Ka Kebab: Melt in your mouth kebabs of Curd with filling of Paneer and Herbs. They were soft, sweet, tangy and delicious. Kakori Kebab: Their soft, melt in your mouth texture and the richness of butter will make you drool for more. A must try. Patiala Talli Kukkad: Tandoor cooked punjabi chicken tikkas with a crispy coating. I usually do not like chicken. But I loved this chicken dish. Arcot Mutton Chops: Slow Cooked Mutton Chops in a simple Arcot spice mix with generous amount of ghee. It was delicious. The best Mutton Chops I ever had. Desserts: House Special Tender Coconut Souffle: Tender Coconut flavored soufflé sweetened with jaggery and a base of roasted grated coconut, with toppings of caramelized bananas. It was not too sweet. It was just perfect.
