Sri Ramdev Sagar

Ramdev Sagar, my friend used to have breakfast take-away from here and that is how I came to know about this place. When I had a bite of their Plain Dosa along with the coconut chutney I was blown away. As a South Indian, I fell in love with the food right after the first bite. For some, the Dosa may feel bit oily but, I love it that way. For a price of Rs 35 it was, without a question, one of the best Dosas I have ever tasted. Ever since then I was waiting to visit them and feel the place by myself. Well, it was a late Sunday night and we decided to grab quick dinner from here. Since it was almost the closing time the Dosa counter was already closed and we had to go with the Idli. They also have a fresh juice counter and we ordered Orange Juice. The restaurant ambience is like a typical fast food South Indian place which reminds you ‘Udupi Garden’, ‘Saravana Bhavan’ etc. The outlet was neat and clean, well maintained. The tables and chairs were all steel themed and the glossy surface was shining by reflecting all those fancy ceiling lights. The staff was friendly and served us fast. Don’t hesitate to ask for more chutney, they will be more than happy to serve you their masterpiece. Overall I loved the place and I would love to recommend this place to anyone who likes to have delicious South Indian breakfast.
