Just when restaurants were becoming monotonous found this beauty Street mama. Something fresh and original. Concept: Street food from 5 different continents. Ambience: Amazing. Vibe of place 5 on 5. Service was awesome. Tio was our host of the night and he was always available. Coming to food. There were ups and then there were pars. Nothing was bad. It was either good or amazing. Street Mama – So let’s first decode the Significance of the name. It’s a street food cum bar-restaurant with a touch of sophistication in it. Extremely well decorated, each and every corner of this place is aesthetically crafted. What blew my mind was their graffitis and seating arrangement. They have 3 types of seating style. 1st is banquet style, next you will see a style which most of the all American dinner adopts and finally they offer play school sort of place where kids can have fun. To me, it was a new experience altogether as their concept of serving street food in casually ‘fine’ dining way, made a mark on the existing and ever-growing food business in the city. This place has well maintained full-scale bar and their drinks collection are praiseworthy. We went for a brunch, and liked their food and loved their drinks offering, We ordered Cocktails: This place has made its name by offering wonderful and well-crafted cocktails. So do try them out. I had Dah ya mama: a cinnamon smoked dark rum with egg white and pineapple juice stunned me. Do try out their Guaca Beer; their specialty. It has a nice balance of spices and bitterness of beer. Starters 1. Prawn Hargrove- minced prawn dumplings with mushroom and water chestnuts... soft and succulent. A must-have item. 2. Togarashi Chicken Sticks- Chicken on a stick with wrapped noodles around it ...a bit innovative and photogenic dish I would say. Taste wise, good. Nothing great. 3. Idli Slider- I liked it. Totally a new experience for me and I find it innovative. Idli filled with Chettinadu paneer and the gunpowder sprinkled on it was great to have. 4. Lakdi Seekh-.Minced meat with on Sugarcane stump in the local street delicacy of Bhopal I think. 5 Guac on Toast- Very common bruschetta of Mexican kind. Well balanced. 6. Saint ribs... This tender pork ribs were good but would have been better if the amount of fat was little less. 7. Veg / Seafood Bhel- It’s a nice concept where you will get to see that server comes pushing his cart and making bhel live. Style of preparation was great and it tasted great. Now for the main course: We ordered: 1. Vegetarian Pizza, Pork Pepperoni Pizza I tasted only the non-veg one and it was quite good I would say. Thin crust pizza was perfect. Desserts- 1.Tiramisu 2.DirtyChurros The Desserts were too good to explain in words . I liked, especially the presentation of tiramisu, . the improvisation was mind-blowing. An outing would cost around Rs 2200-2500/- for a couple, including of Cocktails and food. I am going with 5/5 for everything. (Food, Drinks, décor, service)

This is a place for FUNN... We were here as a group of 11. We visited the place shortly after Halloween and they had the Halloween theme going on. The ambience is great. The prices are too good to be true and the food... Just WOW. The staff are super friendly. Had a super Friday evening. They also host different events like Stand-ups, if you're into it. Decent music. I absolutely recommend this place.

Being an avid traveller, street food is something I try wherever I visit. It gives you a good idea of how the local cuisine of that place evolved, what are its influences, It gives a good idea regarding the culture without spending much. I always hoped for a single place in Bangalore where we can get a taste of street food delicacies from around the world. Well, Street Mama which opened recently in Garuda Mall made it possible. With colourful street arts and graffiti all around, different types of seating arrangements(a part of it being like an Asian street-side seating and another like an American diner), a huge bar in the centre and cart vendor strolling around the tables selling small bites of food and drinks. This gives an absolute street-food feeling inside a restaurant. Just like the seating arrangements, they have menu separated out into different sections - The Americas, Europe and North Africa, West and South Asia, East Asia and Australia. Most of the dishes are small bites and very less emphasis is given on the main course. Many of the dishes are even created by the fusion of two different cuisines. They have some amazing cocktails - some classics and some with an innovative touch(which they call street chemistry cocktails). Some of the cocktails are even available at prices as low as 100 rupees from the street carts strolling around. Even the desserts here are worth dying for. With an excellent concept, food, service this was a much-needed place in Bangalore. Following are the things I tried here and loved:- Guaca Beer - An Aztec inspired Beer Cocktail infused with avocado, jalapeños and coriander leaves. It has an interesting taste with a perfect balance of spice and hoppiness. Classic Mojito - A well-prepared Classic Mojito available at a very low price. Guacamole on Toast - Well this is like a Bruschetta becoming Mexican by having a guacamole topping. Idli Sliders - Loved the concept of this dish. Small idlis used as slider buns, stuffing is of spicy Chettinad style paneer with a drizzle of gunpowder, served with some delicious chutneys. Seafood Bhel - Got this from the cart strolling around. The bhel prepared in front of us live. The added seafood - prawns and calamari made it even wonderful. Prawn Hargao - Prawn, mushroom and water chestnut filled dim sums, with tender dough covering. Tograshi Chicken Stick - Fried Chicken on sticks wrapped with noodles. Looks pretty innovative, tastes good but nothing interesting. Saint Ribs - Loved these Pork Ribs, but if the amount of fat on the ribs would have been a little less then it would have been more enjoyable. Mezze Platter - Wonderfully plated. My vegetarian friend had it mostly and he was extremely happy with it. Piccolo Fritto Misto - A deep fried battered mix of seafood and vegetables. A typical Italian Apertivo food. Tiramisù Croccante - Amazing presentation as well as the taste. This is slightly different from the styles of Tiramisuù we are familiar with. It is crispy and crunchy ('croccante' means crispy in Italian). Gooey Chocolate Pot - Absolutely sinful chocolate pudding cake! Dutty Churros - The Churros were fresh and crispy with a sugary spice coating. It went very well with the choco-caramel dip. Few things I couldn't try this time as I was already full after having so many things, will come back again to try those. Brazilian croquettes or Coxinha and Austrian (though not a street food) Schnitzels are few of them.

Happened to visit this place which is on the 5th floor of Garuda mall. Never imagined that this place would turn out to be so good. Right from the ambiance to drinks and food, it was mind-boggling. The exciting part is that, they have food from across the globe catering in this place. The menu is very huge that it's a huge task in choosing what you want. 👉 Ambiance: It's a pretty huge place with a total different theme. They have a 360 degree bar and an open kitchen which looks really good. The interiors are so trendy, colourful, funky & quirky. Totally rises the mood up. They have catchy phrases put up on the walls. They also have vending cart which allows you to customise your mojito starting at just Rs. 50. Isn't it exciting? 👉 Food to order: 💁 Jambiri Fatayer: it's a baked bread boat filled with prawns and cheese served with sumac sauce. Very unique dish, must try. 💁 Kuku Peri Peri: skewed chicken with South African chilli sauce. 💁 Mama's Own Orly: fish and chips served with tartar sauce. 💁 Prawn Hargao: steamed dumplings with minced pranws & mushroom served with chilli and tomato sauce. 💁 Pan-fried Mackerel with Lemon: 💁 Satay Ayan: chicken satay with peanut sauce comes along with fried egg. 💁 Dutty Churros: the best churros ever! This is a MUST TRY dish. The most fluffiest soft and lip smacking churros served along with chocolate and salted caramel sauce. 💁 Puff Daddy: yet another delicious dessert. It's bun stuffed with vanilla ice cream topped with caramel sauce. 👉 Over all Experience: Street mama is a game changer for a lot of places. It's going to be a tough competition to the rest of the pubs. I had no complaints about my visit to this place and me n my friend left the place with a good experience. The staff are well trained and their knowledge about the F&B is pretty good. Mr. Maddy made our visit pleasant as he suggested us some of the best they have. A must visit place. Street Hound - if you like rum and gin combination, you will like this drink. Betel Street - Street styled pan flavour drink based on vodka, loved it! If you are a big fan of kahlua you must try Black Russian here! 😍 Starters, You have to stop the bhel stall and never let him go from your table, because it was so tasty and delicious, we all loved it! Arachini Bros - risotto balls filled with cheese and mushroom, liked it. Swiss Street Roesli - it's a potato dish and the taste was amazing. Thai Corn Cakes - slightly different taste than indian ones, tasted good Non-veg, Togarishi Chicken Sticks - perfectly cooked chicken on stick with crispy outer layer, loved the taste and the presentation. Kuku peri peri - it's skewered chicken woth peri peri sauce, would have been better if it was more spicy. Dessert, Tried almost all desserts on the menu. they need to improved with the taste. what I loved the most was Gooey Chocolate Pot and Tiramisu Croccante.
