The Black Rabbit

Had heard so much about The Black Rabbit ever since I had moved to Bangalore and finally got an opportunity to visit the place for last weekend. The first thing that you would notice about the The Black Rabbit is the classy ambiance and decor, which looks very refined and royal. The fine artwork with wood, beautiful bell-shaped lamps hanging from the roof, huge glass panes looking into the guzzling 100-feet Indiranagar road, sofa-sitting on one side of the hallway, the beautiful white entry door, and tall bar-benches with chairs on either sides facing the bar, certainly the perfect setting and utilization that could be made of the available space. Hats-off to the interior designer for all the good work. The place also offers outside sitting with a couple of chairs and table looking into the 100-feet road. The place also offers a good variety of liquor and food options, both for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. But unlike many other places in the town which have a localized food options, Black Rabbit has very unique and contemporary food to offer. As we were a big group of people, we ended up ordering almost everything from the menu. The service was prompt the staff was very courteous to accommodate some of the customization requests with the food. We tried the Baked Mushroom Spinach Cheddar Filo Parcels, Charcoal Grilled Cottage Cheese, Crispy Potato Skins, Balsamic & Dill Grilled Mushrooms, Portobello Mushroom Pizza, Crispy Veg Burgers and Vegetable Borak, which pretty much covers a good deal of veg appetizers and mains on the menu. Everything that we ordered was delicious but would highly recommend you try their Charcoal Grilled Cottage Cheese, Baked Mushroom Spinach Cheddar Filo Parcels and Portobello Mushroom Pizza – which were amazing. The showstopper to complete the visit was Sticky Toffee Pudding, which was mouth-watering delicious. The toffee syrup on the pudding was unbelievably delish. We also ordered the Hot Brownie Sundae, which was amazing as well. A highly recommended fine-dining, classy bar & pub in Indidranagar, you would certainly love it !

Visited this place on a Sunday Afternoon for brunch with a group of like minded people. We had reached the place before 1PM and the  place was mostly empty, but within one hour the entire place was packed. 🖼️Ambiance:- I had lot of expectations from this place in terms of Ambiance, but it didn't live up to my expectations. This place gets it popularity majorly because of the location of this place, thus making it a hyped place among the younger generation. As we went during the day, so cant make any comment on the DJ and the dance floor of this place. It's not that spacious, but can accommodate lot of people. 🎭Service:- The staff here is polite, well versed with the menu and can help you chose dishes among the menu. Both the kitchen service and the table service were really quick, even when the place was jam packed. 🍱Food:- As we went there to try the Fusion menu, we got a chance to try different new dishes which our taste buds haven't tried so far. Duck Samosa and the chocolate brownie are worth trying here

A surprisingly good spot to grab lunch. Ample seating, friendly staff and scrumptious food. Not much more needed for a good lunch. Ambience: (4/5) Rustic with a nice old school feel of the furniture. The wood work on the roof adds a great touch to the ambience. Comes with 2 floors and outside seating. There are about 9-10 tables outside and inside there are about 10 smaller tables and one large one in the middle. Food: (4/5) I was pleasantly surprised by the food here. I just dropped in during a lunch to get some salad since I had seen it on the menu. The place had a really nice salad and ended up trying the peri peri fries. Now these are seriously peri peri. A bright reddish colour and a good balance of salt and spice ensure that it’s still enjoyable. The food was served quite quickly and the ingredients are all extremely fresh. Additional the presentation here is great. Even to build the salad tower that came must have take a good amount of work. Summary: (4/5) I didn’t get a change to try more on the menu, but if there is any means to go by the salad and fries, this place is def worth another visit for me. If you are looking for a nice quote joint to grab a quick bite or just enjoy some salad, drop by.

The restaurant has a very GOA feel. Meaning lively and fresh. Not a single thing in menu from Indian cuisine. Though I loved everything we ordered. Just letting you know. Menu is limited and pricing is ok 👍 not very expensive. We went with a zomato gold coupon our bill was hardly 700 something rupees. Each and every thing was rightly spiced and also FYI they serve liquor during the day and the outside sitting is a smoking zone. Very well behaved staff. My husband took sometime to come.i wanted to wait it took him half hour to get there. The staff was very well behaved and didn't come stalking for orders. Or may be it wasn't a busy day. Perfect place for couples. Do have their pizza the second one in veg section as I have forgotten the name. Also try their chicken sub. And mint rice with chicken. Thanks 😊

Quite a good and refreshing experience in TBR. They have some signature dishes which are really awesome to taste. Serves alcohol and liquor with a decent choice along with some fantastic cocktails. They have a separate smoking zone dine in tables too. Booking in advance is must but weekends are pretty busy. Not much seating available and also very limited parking space. Overall the rustic ambience and interiors will please you. Place for young crowd.

Great ambience for spending time with family and friends. The roof decor is pretty amazing. We ordered fried chicken in starters along with pasta in white sauce and Mac & cheese. The food was standard.The cocktails we're pretty good. Some of the items we wanted to order was not available so that was a bummer. Overall good experience.

Loved the Sunday brunch here. Fairly nice spread, well cooked food and great ambience. The music being played was exceptionally good too. Enjoyed the grilled varieties and the salad bar the most. Rest of the food was average but the Beef and grilled fish in dil sauce were yummy. Liked the desserts too. Recommend the sundar brunch for sure. 👍
