Impossibly polite and attentive hostess, wicked good pulled pork and brisket (at least), spotlessly clean restaurant, and interesting decor featuring a fully restored Ford tractor. Not necessarily inexpensive, but unless you're starving you'll end up with some leftovers if you get a platter.. And again, a super nice hostess puts you into a good mood right away. Seems like these folks are doing exactly what they want to be doing, feeding us all good food. Recommended!

Had Lunch here with my Wife. I love BBQ, but she isn't really a fan because it can be dry and she doesn't like how much sauce is on stuff sometimes. Anyway Slicks BBQ was AMAZING! She said that it was the best BBQ she had ever had. This is because slick doesn't over cook his meat and let you put the sauce on IF you want to. all the Meat has wonderful flavor and NONE of it is dry. Even the turkey (which lets face it is a tough bird to cook) was beautifully moist and tender. We both left Full and satisfied for under $30 (two meats two sides bread and a drink)
Service, provided by Roy himself, and atmosphere was wonderful! be sure to try out their hand washing machine VERY COOL!!

I am from Texas and picky on BBQ.
Slick's is good. It's way better than Baldy's in my opinion. My 9-year-old agrees.
Our favorite item on their menu is the brisket. You can ask for either end of the brisket - the marbled end or the lean end. Of course take the marbled end. :)
Their ribs are excellent too.
I just wish they had fried okra. I heard they used to.

This place rocks the BBQ. I've only been once but I will definitely be back! We ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and I was impressed by its size- 8 very meaty ribs, (almost) more than I could eat. The coleslaw has a great flavor but is a little juicier than I usually like-- had to let it drip off a bit whilst waiting to take a bite. The baked beans are amazing-- I couldn't identify the unique taste at first, then realized they were cooked with pineapple bits. Very good!
The sauces were also very tasty-- the regular has a wonderful flavor and the spicy one is, well, spicy-- but also great flavor and not too hot. And I love their hand-washing machine! Lastly, the owners were so nice and friendly that I'd return just because of their customer-service attitude even if the food weren't top-notch (which it definitely is!)

I took my family to their Bend location. The service was good and the food was great. Plus they have a really neat hand wash machine to clean the sticky stuff off your fingers when you are done!
