Long John Silver's

We only go to Long John Silvers maybe once or twice a year during lent. At this point its just tradition. I was pretty impressed with the menu options they have now. Long John's isn't just breaded fish, chicken and hush puppies. We got the seafood taco trio that had one of those infamous breaded fish wads for one, shrimp for the other and salmon for the 3rd. Each was topped with fresh ingredients and tasted pretty darn good. I was surprised I liked the salmon one the best. I really like their fries and hush puppies, so those were our sides and were fantastic as well. My only negative mark is the restaurant itself. The place was obviously short staffed and the employees were stressed out as a result. Their credit card machine wasn't working right either and so they were dealing with that on top of a neverending line of fish craving fiends. Luckily while I was there nobody yelled at them or lost their cool. Overall it was good food and the service was pleasent for how stressed out the staff was. Treat your stores and your people better Long John's corporate!

Food was really fresh and hot. They currently have their mac 'n cheese back for a limited time. Service was pretty fast, few cars in the drive-thru but the wait was not that long. The crew was really friendly and did and awesome job remembering the add a piece of fish and to include plenty of tarter sauce. Recommend this location they seem to always get the others correct and go the extra step.

I love long john silvers but not this location. The fish and fries were so greasy they're not even crispy, the rice was bland overcooked wet mush, the clam bites taste old, and I could go on. I've never had bad food from ljs but this really might be the worst food I've ever gotten from a fast food place.

Update of review: 6/21/22 I went in for fish a few weeks ago and heard the unmistakable sound of mouse traps going off under the counter where I was placing my order. The counter is this tin material like you see at a junk yard, so the sound was echoing and even more pronounced had it been simply under a wood countertop. At least two mouse/rat traps snapped shut/were triggered while my order was being taken. I tried to shake this thought and had a moment where I just needed to walk away. I took my food, but tossed it. I could not bring myself to eat it after hearing that.
