Ipho No 1

Delicious! I got a small and couldn't finish it (just a tip for those with small appetites like me). Tea wasn't the right one, but our server offered multiple times to bring me the one I ordered, but I ended up liking the Thai tea so I declined. Servers are young, but helpful and sweet. Definitely get something with their pho broth. So. Good.

Such an amazing restaurant 😍 the beef and steak pho is phenomenal- so much flavor and ginormous portions! The meat is tender, the noodles perfect and the veggies you get on a side plate to add (bean sprouts, sliced jalapeno, cilantro and lime wedge) are all fresh and aromatic. The stir fry beef my husband got was awesome too. Plus the crab rangoons were hot outta the fryer and loaded with cream cheese happiness.

First time trying pho tonight! I got the Thai milk tea with boba and the P11 (both size large), and crab rangoons. Since I hadn’t had pho before tonight I’m not sure I’m a good judge of the quality but there was definitely a lot of food! I am however a very experienced judge of crab rangoons and I would recommend skipping those here. The wait for food is a bit longer because they are pretty short-staffed, but they have signs stating this going in so we were aware that could happen. But the staff that was there was super nice and attentive in bringing our drinks and taking our orders (especially the tall young man with glasses, very solid employee!). All in all I think I’d be back for the milk tea and the friendly service!

So. We saw a mouse. And when the owner came out because I said I saw a freaking mouse, he did comp all of our meals. However, he also slipped up in his babbling about it being a public place and said that he also had to address a roach problem in the kitchens. The food tasted good and the waitress was great. But the reality is, I can’t take my dog into indoor eating areas because of health codes. It doesn’t matter that an animal can come in through doors. Mice carry diseases and can multiply. It wasn’t coming in from the door. It was already in the place. He should have comped everyone’s meals and closed the place down until they found it. It doesn’t matter how yummy the food was if the place is having a pest problem. The fact that the owner downplayed it that they could come in through the doors almost made it worse seeing as most places don’t have mice just waltzing into their establishments even with open doors. At least we did get to walk out the doors without paying a penny because I was the one who saw it, but everyone else eating there still had to pay for food that could have been contaminated.
