Afghan Cuisine

The food was incredible! Very generous portions, and the staff is very kind and courteous. We ordered several different items and they were all ready at once, served hot. We had a lot of fun trying to guess what went into the food spice wise as each dish had so much depth to its flavors. Definitely a go-to for us from now on.

We ordered takeout on a Friday night and the highlight was the kabobs (chicken) which were a koobideh style. Also, the kabuli pilaw rice was great! However, the lamb shank was not as tender as I prefer, and the shank was larger, indicating more of Mutton than lamb. Definitely recommend, but wish there was a way to get the kabuli pilaw rice with other meats or itself. Too much $$$ for that shank.

Went to this Resturant with friends and boy I was disappointed. 3 of the main Afghan dishes were not available which was ridiculous. A teenager as a server who couldn’t even seemed to have no manners or experience. What a let down. So we decided to walk out and go to a different restaurant. I normally don’t write reviews, let alone negative, but being Afghan myself, it was sad to see how these restaurants are operated.

If you are a meat lover and want to try authentic Afghan food, this is the place to go. I absolutely love their meat options (in particular Tikkah Kabab and Pallou)...... There are not too many halal restaurants that can do a good job at cooking meat according to your preference (I like medium rare).....Afghan cuisine is always spot on.....Highly recommend checking them out
