Lovely food, they hadn’t got any alcohol unsure if a problem that night or changed from licensed, there is a close off licence so wasn’t too much of an issue for us

Havent been out to eat for a long time but tonight my family & i went to India Gate & had a warm welcome from the owner, followed by superb service from a polite, smiley & friendly young lady & the most amazing food. We were so pleased we chose to go there. Overall it was excellent! Thank you India Gate 😊

The best subcontinent restaurant we've visited since moving to East Anglia.
This part of the world is not renowed for this sort of cuisine but this place is pretty good.
It won't win any awards, but we will be eating there in the future.
Just one point: please Mr manager, don't try to hurry people out the door by presenting your customers with the bill before they ask for it!

Had a good curry, really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, they seemed a little understaffed, only one person doing drinks, orders and serving. But food was prompt. Will return one day.

Been here a few times now, twice in the restaurant and now twice takeaway, must say the quality of food is top notch, no difference from eating in for getting it delivered. Thanks for a wonderful meal guys, and the prices are good also. If you haven't been then your missing out.

I have to complain first... we waited 1 hour 30 mins for a takeaway which is totally ridiculous which did frustrate me some what but..... this was the best Indian takeaway I have ever eaten hand on heart unbelievably good. Shame we live so far away would try sit down next. SORT IT OUT GUYS! Excellent food crappie service

Popped into the restaurant this evening for collection The gentleman that took my order was very polite and I must say, the food was excellent. The kids can be a bit fussy at times but they very much enjoyed a Bhuna split between them. My Chicken Tikka Jalfrazi was absolutely superb, and my partner was very pleased with her Korma. We will certainly be ordering from you again! Thank you for a lovely meal.

Originally we had recieved the order with some wrong items. I rang up and they offered to deliver the food we were missing. We recieved the food and it was lovely as always. Everyone makes mistakes! And delivery driver was very polite as always. Thank you!

Food was excellent - the only thing that could be improved is how chaotic it seems on busy nights like Fridays and Saturdays. Can't help that it is a fairly small space with lots of people in and the staff try their absolute best but the atmosphere just seems pretty chaotic

I have spent many years of my life overseas and have sometimes struggled to find decent Indian food in the UK but, I found it here.
The staff are always friendly and willing to offer advice on dishes, the dishes served are always excellent.
We visit this restaurant regularly and always enjoy our evening.
Great food, polite and friendly staff. If you are in Beccles this restaurant is a must.
Negative reviews can seriously impact a business. Every time a negative review pops up on Google searches, there is the potential to lose customers. 86% of customers hesitate to purchase from companies with negative reviews. Negative reviews ultimately have a cost on the business.
Before you post a negative review do the decent thing and speak to the business staff directly. Do it the right way.
