Visiting from out of town & booked dinner here to celebrate my husbands 40th. Evan made our whole experience here amazing. From the initial friendly arrival where he wished my husband a Happy Birthday, to making sure our kids tastes would be catered for and their food was brought out first - everything he did was with incredible service and friendliness. We could tell he was run off his feet with Covid cutting his staff that night, but that didn't stop him giving everyone the same wonderful service that we had. Food = delicious! I had the half rack of ribs which were the biggest I'd ever eaten. My hubby had the Betty White burger which he enjoyed and mentioned it wasn't a greasy burger like you get at alot of burger places. My son absolutely loved his buttermilk chicken tenders and my picky daughter ate more of her food then usual. My hubby loved the Stout and I enjoyed the Lynchburg Lemonade. Thanks very much Evan, we had a wonderful visit to Dogwood because of you!!

If you want good food, an out standing atmosphere and the friendliest staff you’ll ever meet this is as good as it gets, proper good food with real flavour not cheap meat and some generic rub. You can tell this good is made with passion! The ribs are 11/10 the closest thing I’ve tasted to Texas ribs since I’ve been there! Do not hesitate to spend a night and gorge on the best food you’ll eat in your life! Real food, real flavour, real atmosphere! Hurry up and go there!!!!!!!!

We had an outstanding experience here at Dogwood. Not only do they boast one of the best prime ribs I’ve had (either here in Australia or North America!) their desserts were well worth the removal of a belt. If that wasn’t enough we were absolutely blown away by Evan’s hospitality. Not only was he charming and attentive throughout the meal, he exhibited extraordinary diligence with my son’s (many) allergies. I can’t recommend this place enough, as I watched him and his team work the dining room I can really see they pride themselves on customer service and enjoyment.

Outstanding, Excellent, Just Perfect. Truly, I can not remember when I've eaten a better steak anywhere. The staff (both the owner and the waitress) were pleasant, and took the time guide us through the menu choices, and we were not disappointed by their recommendations. Everyone agreed that we need to add the Dogwood BX to our "must visit again" list. Do yourself a favor and visit the Dogwood BX. On a scale on 1 to 10, it's a 12 !
