Getting my hair cut today with Akin was the best thing I did. Completely spontaneously, and after a gruelling period of parent care, I looked up 3 hairdressers in Bath and based on reviews decided to call Akin. He fitted me in with little notice. He was patient, asked what I wanted, suggested but was open to question, had ideas but was not pushy. He gave me the best haircut ever and I felt completely lifted. He is very talented and artistic, whilst being careful to listen and respect my concerns or wishes. I’m going back again for sure. Transformed what could be done with my curly and fine frizzy hair. Top decision of the day. Photos of before and after below. Returned and had my hair cut and coloured with Akin again today. Did not disappoint. Amazing job and absolutely love it even more. Will be going back again. Another fabulous haircut with Akin today. The attention to detail and skill to cut and shape hair perfectly is first class. Great hair cut and colour again today with Akin. I was very anxious to get my haircut today as I needed quite a lot taken off. From the start Akin made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He gave amazing advice and listened to my requests. I am so so so happy with how my hair turned out! It's the best experience I've ever had at a hairdressers! Can't wait to be back! I could not recommend Akin more! Thank you!

Akin was so friendly and clearly a very skilled hairdresser . I couldn’t be happier with my new look ! I have already had such lovely compliments from family and friends ! I made an appointment with Salih for a haircut but the night before I cut a big bit of hair myself. He was so patient and kind. It was a challenge with the awkward angle and short length but he gave me a fantastic haircut. Now two months later it still looks excellent falling right into place. We took a last minute side trip to Bath and I had a hair emergency at the same time. I checked the reviews and chose Backstage. This is the first time a hairdresser truly gave me what I asked for. Great color, cut, and keratin treatment. Honestly the best cut I’ve ever had, rich multidimensional color, and healthy straight hair. We’re trying to work out how to make quarterly trips to Bath so I can have the benefit of Akin’s expertise in the future. He’s so good that my husband wants to fly him to our home in Florida. Maybe! I wish we’d done a before picture to show the dramatic change
