Nice place to have a pint, listen to tunes on the jukebox, and shoot some pool.
Good selection of seating options, plenty of tables and chairs.
All round pleasant local pub.

I can't endorse this establishment enough. The Landlord and Landlady, Tony and Sam always welcome you with a warm smile and nothing is too much trouble for them. A very friendly clientele and a fabulous atmosphere. You'd do well to find a better pub in Basingstoke and the surrounding area.

Easily the best fish and chip I've had in years!
Tender fish delightfully light batter. Freshly cooked to order! Definitely will do fish friday at the Oak again. 🍽❤😃
Lovely place, clean and welcoming. Whole family really enjoyed our visit.
Lovely selection of Gin too!!

Fantastic atmosphere have a great pizza. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Couldn't do enough for me and my wife five stars all the way will definitely be back

Due to the lockdown it has been a long time since I've had a big roast dinner and a pint, as soon as I saw that The Oak had started delivering I thought I'd give it a go. Surprised with how big the meal was, very tasty, we had three meals, beef, roast belly pork and chicken, there was plenty of veg and roast potatoes, a giant yorkshire and pot of gravy. The pint was fantastic too. The best Sunday meal we have had in a long time. I will be doing this as a regular thing now.

Had an amazing fish&chips 🤤 I will definitely be going back, five star service guys keep up the good work. Heard they also do Sunday roasts!! Might need to sneak out for one after church.
