Roy’s Cafe

Just moved here and someone recommended this place , and it has treated me good since. Employees are very respectful made sure you’re well taken care of . This place is for families , and when you want to chill to get something off your mind. The food from the pastrami sandwiches to the burgers and the breakfast is always good. Salads I’ve never been disappointed . It’s all great and my dressing comes on the side. But I have no complaints what so ever when coming to this place. And Even know just moving here since my first experience was excellent I go about every other day or even twice in one lol. I’m in Barstow ain’t nothing else out there

When I got here it was around 815am. There was only one other table in the place. The service was very friendly and quick. I ordered one of there specials , “the breakfast sandwich” on sourdough and a coffee. The sandwich comes with your choice of meat and I chose sausage. It also comes with lettuce and tomato which was interesting but pretty good. Now the place is pretty old and the restroom needs to be remodeled a bit. You can buy Route 66 memorabilia and Roy’s cafe hats, shirts, and mugs located in the front of the store. All in all it wasn’t a bad experience and a nice place to sit and have coffee.

Had the 1/3 lb cheeseburger and it was great. Fresh fries and great service. The owner happen to be there and came out greet the guests, which I really liked. He was asking if everything was good, food, service, and talking about the other many items on his menu. I've had the burger twice and it never disappoints.

This place was REALLY good! Do not let the exterior scare you off, it looks a little small & shabby, but the food is EXCELLENT and the servings were huge. Pictured is the BLT with side salad and the chicken fajita quesadilla. The staff was also very friendly and helpful! Two handicap accessible bathrooms. All booths, but there was enough space in the aisle for my mom to sit at the end of the table in a wheelchair. Definitely a good food stop on the way to or from Vegas — support a small business instead of another fast food corporation!

Found this on Google, checked out the reviews and tried it out. Wow, was blown away. Breakfast was delicious. Ordered the pastrami & cheese omelette and it was so good. Pancakes was great as well. New spot to stop at on my way home. And the staff was nice and friendly. Very personable with the guests.
