The food sucked. The employees were literally unknown about what they were doing and I called my order in and still took a hour to get my cold food and they forgot half of my order. I will never go to this dump again. Very disappointed by the two employees working. One girl worried more about her friend sitting out side than cooking. The food sucked the service sucked. Never again.

In the Barrington store tonight, on a Friday during a dinner rush (and for the rest of the shift, I’m sure), this very kind, patient and amazing man was working alone (I unfortunately did not get his name). No co-workers at all with him. The line was going through the door. The phone was ringing. People were waiting for their food to be cooked. And not ONCE did this gentleman do anything to show he was upset, too busy, or overwhelmed. He greeted everyone as they walked in, making 3-4 different orders at once, cashing people out with a smile on and ALWAYS answered the phone before the second ring (which happened A LOT in the short 30-minutes we were there to eat). At one point, 4-5 customers at once were telling him that they understand the wait and they don’t understand how any manager can leave ONE staff on, on a Friday night. A good manager would have been there; this was not ok. To the female that went in during the rush in her Shaw’s uniform and ran to the back to grab your paycheck and back out the front door, the ENTIRE restaurant heard you laugh as you left the store talking to someone else saying “did you see his face?!” If even for one second he may have thought he had help, what’s funny about that? Put yourself in his shoes. Let’s see how you’d handle yourself. To this young man, thank you. Although I don’t know your name, I know that the way you handled yourself tonight was beyond professional and us thanking you is NOT enough. I hope the world gives you good karma and that D'Angelo Grilled Sandwiches realizes the type of employee they have in you. We hope your night gets better. And that you get the recognition you deserve. Thank you so much. This young man is one in a million nowadays. Have you ever had 10 people standing over the counter watching you make sandwiches, answer the phone, cash people out, and STILL do it all so politely and calm? This is bad business, D’Angelos. And exactly how you lose a very valuable employee. 5 stars for him. Please give him recognition.
