Spizzico

Six of us met for a weekday lunch. Huge menu with choices of light snacks to main meals. 3 of us had pasta and three had smoked salmon bagels. All enjoyed their choice and the house wine. Not many people in there but it probably gets busier in the evenings. We were pleasantly surprised when the bill arrived and thought it was good value. Me and my partner came here a couple of weeks ago, food was gorgeous as always and service was fantastic too. Friendly and charming! One of my favourite places to go and eat. My parents are very fond of here as well.

I've been to Spizzico's many times and the food is always fantastic, so much so, I had arranged for my Filming Crew to use the restaurant as a unit base for our shoot. Ali and his staff were so accommodating and provided amazing food and were flexible to work around our hectic schedule. Can't recommend Spizzico's enough :) Six of us met for a weekday lunch. We came to Barnet for the steak restaurant next door (closed), and were greeted like loyal customers by the maitre’d. Early on a Bank Holiday Sunday evening, there were at least eight groups (some for the Sunday roast), and it filled up rapidly as we were leaving, with lots of apparently repeat customers. Food and service impeccable: mushroom risotto and stuffed aubergine mains with beetroot salad were fresh, tasty, and comforting.

Just had a really lovely family meal for my daughter's birthday. We had balloons (without asking) to mark the special occasion and really lovely attentive staff. Not too intrusive but there when ever you needed service. The food was fantastic. Between the 4 of us we all have very different tastes from fish to steaks to spaghetti bolognese. Everything was perfect. And excellent value.

Visited the restaurant on a Saturday for a late lunch. It wasn't too packed, the décor and atmosphere was cosy with a Mediterranean feel. Service was great and didn't have to wait long for the food. Ordered the Halumi and Asparagus for a starter then the Sea Bass and Rosemary Potatoes for the main. Both were well cooked and tasted great, would visit again.

The guy who runs this place lives and breathes it, you can tell that hospitality is his passion. The food is always good, lots of favourites on the menu as well as a specials menu. And the atmosphere is as good as the food, we've never visited when there haven't been families, couples, and groups of friends enjoying themselves.

Very friendly staff and delicious food. I also appreciated that I turned up with my two kids on a very busy day, Mother's day. I had not reserved a table and I was ready to walk away when they said they were fully booked. They did their best to fit me and the kids in. I had the most delicious Risotto with asparagus of my life. I will be definetly go back.
