Subway

A pretty average experience here as far as Subways go. The store is kept clean and it is nice that there is street parking put front on this side street. It was a bit of a mix with the staff when we went. A couple of the staff (likely the owners) were quite experienced, quick and made great sandwiches. I was not quite so lucky to be served by them. I was served by a lady who was training. I am not sure that she should complete her training. She skimped on each topping as if they were low on produce. She didn't know what Italian sub sauce or hot sauce was. She wouldn't speak really and was PAINFULLY SLOW. The owner could sense that she was not really lighting it up for me and informed me that she was new. PRO TIP- If you are planning to eat your footlong in the car, have them cut it in half and wrap each half separately so that it makes it easier and less messy to eat.

Located just off the main drag, with a couple tables inside and outside. Staff try to move through the line quickly. With two staff putting toppings on it was challenging when trying to order 3 subs and both staff were asking questions. When explaining it was difficult to listen to both of them at the same time they continued to both ask questions. One staff seemed irritated that questions weren’t being answered quickly making the experience unnecessarily stressful. Tables outside were not clean. Food was as expected and this place was good for a quick meal to get back to exploring Banff.

Freshly baked breads and chopped toppings, perfectly made sub by the staff I call The Artist. Nice place in the Downtown Banff. I will recommend to sit by the street side table next to the entrance door and enjoy the spectacular view of Rocky Mountains while you eat sub. Great staff, clean dine in area. Highly recommended.

Worst experience ever I had from subway restaurant not only they cheating customers by not putting right amount of toppings. I worked 6 years managing subway restaurant and it was painful to see that owner is loosing business because staff get irritated when I asked for only few extra olives. One of the staff got angry when I asked for more olives and one of the guy standing right beside the person who was making my sub told me that you need to talk to my staff with respect. I didn’t ask them give me extra sub but few more olives which he could charged me if needed but didn’t understand where the respect part came from. I simply have one suggestion that your customer is your boss and simply can fire from chairmen to ceo by spending their money somewhere else. So treat them with respect it might cost you few extra cents but it will help you bring business and retain your customers.

If I could rate it lower I would. I strongly recommend not coming here, the prices are inflated due to tourist attraction. The chips were extremely stale as if they were kept without oxygen. The staff were super rude and in a bad mood and drenched my sandwich in sauce when I asked for a little. The sandwich meat tasted so processed, even to subways standard I’d recommend going to anywhere else but here, I regretted spending money the very first bite.

We walked into subway to order our food. We are vegetarian and don’t like our veggies touched by other meats, as subway workers use the same glove for meat as they do for veggies. We asked for a clean glove and fresh veggies. In return, the worker working there at 3pm on Sunday feb 13(Banff location)told us,” if we are worried like that, you shouldn’t eat here” Amazing work subway, way to keep your customers coming. We have been to many locations that always accommodate us. It’s sad to see us get told like that

Nope no way, it's not an authentic subway for sure. Damn too hesitant to add topings and sause. Bought 5 sandwiches with absolutely no napkin. Asked to wrap it in two cover, as we where on two cars, they said cover is there but no cover. Not sure why they have not added napkins. Top bad customer service. Price is inflated, but I read the price before I ordered it, no complaints on it.

You have to ask multiple times for more ingredients. “Extra” of anything means the smallest pinch. The employees act like the ingredients are being taken out of their pay cheque. A cold cut also being $10+ for a footlong is stupid. I get Banff is more expensive but this is just taking advantage at that point.
