Bridge House

The Bridge is outstanding. The passion, care and attention to detail is evident throughout leading to a consistent, exemplary experience. From the exquisite country decor to the ambiance to the finesse and presentation of the food, the time and effort the owners put in is evident. There is an ever changing menu where everything is cooked freshly to order. The drinks menu is extensive and nothing seems too much trouble. The garden is amazing - very peaceful and relaxing. 5 stars doesn’t do it justice!

Spotless and large, well-appointed room! Bridge House had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and we had everything we needed for our stay. There’s a car park opposite (50p per stay) and a shop and restaurants within a few minutes’ walk. Breakfast was great with a selection of hot and cold options. Highly recommend!

Bridge House is the perfect 'boutique' guest house. We had three nights there on route to and from Cornwall and could not have found a more comfortable & delightful place. Stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and excellent breakfast. It had been recommended to us and we were so pleased we followed it up. Congratulations to Caroline & Nigel for creating such a delightful place

We enjoyed our one night stay. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our room was a good size and well furnished, there was a bottle of water and plenty of tea and coffee, including two sachets of proper filter coffee and we received a small Stainless flask of milk to keep it cool which was an unexpected bonus! Shower worked well and the bath was great with plenty of hot water so no problem there. Towels were big and fluffy which my partner loved ! Breakfast was great, gluten free options and everything was fresh and cooked to perfection, including my partners poached eggs and she's very particular ! We'd definitely recommend it and you'll receive a warm welcome too....5 out of 5☺

Nice coffee and scones. A really nice friendly welcome and service. I didn't have time for anything more but the menu and specials looked very inviting. The place looked spotlessly clean and I saw that they had a lovely garden area with tables etc. I'll definitely be going back to try lunch very soon.
