Was a nice local pub with a great out door area! Didn't get a chance to eat a proper meal but the appetizers we did have was delicious.

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the outdoor section is an amazing space! The food is really good too. My top pick is the buffalo hot wings. The staff are friendly & welcoming.

Solid pub grub, generous serves at a good price. Enjoyed the wings, arancini and squid. Parmi was good with nice chips. Pork with Asian salad was ok, would definitely recommend cooking pork in the sauce rather than drizzling over. Fish and chips looked great though I didn't try it.

My favourite hotel (pub for us Brits) in Balmain. An honest locals pub with a great (big!) canopied outside area. The food is well priced for good sized portions and daily specials make it very comfortably affordable. It's my go to place for pub grub on the peninsula.

What a shambles of a place (beer garden). Music is too loud for general conversation. Minerbirds come from no where when people leave for on the table (unhygienic). Food is basic and not enjoyable. Advice: Leave the dryer herbs OFF the chips. Chicken Snitty was dry.

Literally the worst management of a situation , I have seen. I know it was Anzac Day but we arrived specifically 2 hours early to watch the Anzac Day AFL clash . Got the tail end of first match ( Swans) and were through the second quarter of the Collingwood , Essendon game on a table we kept for the whole time. Disco is going but at least we had the screen ( downstairs had NRl) Duty manager comes up and without consulting anyone changes it to NRL . No one was watching the screen except our table. He then goes all full on I should kick you out when I question him. If this is customer service in the new world leave this place alone . Return it to the least attended pub in Balmain as it was in the 1980s when I first came here.
