Food is always amazing and the people are really nice :)

A delicious meal share resenty at the Bala Spice. Despite the restaurant being busy the staff were efficient and the food of excellent quality and unlike any Indian food tasted before. We took our leftovers home for the next day where they were much enjoyed.
If I had a complaint it would be the music which could have been more authentic and the lack of ice cream which would have been an excellent way to round off our very much enjoyed meal.
The food served in this restaurant must be the closest to genuine Indian cuisine there is. A quality meal.

Nice clean restaurant and toilet. Friendly staff and the food was good. It was cash only, I don't know if that was due to a problem. Also no alcohol is served but you are welcome to take your own. A cash point and drinks are both available across the road. It was quiet when we were in.

Food really good, service good and you are generally served quickly. The only downsides is the price doesn’t match what they charge you for it and they only except cash!

Went on a Saturday night - very busy. No music but other diners gave it atmosphere.
Food nice - not sensational but nothing like inedible like other recent reviews suggest.
Prices higher than places local to me but it's a holiday town with limited options so it's supply and demand.
As others have said, cash only makes it feel VAT iffy. BYO alcohol is neither here nor there - if you're bringing your own I would suggest getting it from Bargain Booze rather than Co-op as prices better and more variety.

Went back a second time Friday early on . Not as busy as Monday and more staff. Food still 100% spot on .bring your own alcohol but plenty of availability within meters. Only us in so no atmosphere but waiter was great. Food no complaints.

A good curry from the Bala Spice. It is a cash only restaurant. There is a bank across the road and down to the left if needed.

Hussain and his team welcomed us so well. The food was actually amazing! Best curry we’ve had in a while. Highly recommend.

We got a great takeaway from here. We found the price to be very reasonable (£45) for two curries and two starters and poppadoms and the curries we had (chicken tikka dansak and vindaloo) were both really delicious. Friendly staff too!

Best curry I've had in ages!! There are but a few good restaurants in Bala and you must eat here. BYOB if you want to drink alcohol. But the food IS amazing. Friendly service, clean restaurant. A must visit in my opinion. Enjoyed different kinds of curry and had several starters as a main meal.
