We were happy to find out Juniper had a vegan option on the menu. The food was lovely. The decor inside was very nice, enjoyable atmosphere. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Maybe a couple more vegan choices would be ideal but all in all great restaurant!

Restaurant was well decorated in the nice location of Bakewell. The pizzas were fantastic and the gin selection was the best I have seen for a pizzeria! Good atmosphere and the chef made the effort to come and ask us how the meal was. Would highly recommend.

Popped in for an early Gin and Tonic. Amazing selection and knowledgeable staff. We didn't eat but the food looked great. Good for drinks and probably food too.

Just called in to Juniper after seeing gin of the week on Facebook, great offer. Ended up staying for pizza and garlic bread. Amazing, pepperoni half and then chicken fajita half. Sun blushed garlic bread absolutely gorgeous. Great staff, young lad and excellent manageress we will be back to try more of the gins.

Very quiet on a Friday night but very attentive polite staff. 10 out of 10. Had a tapas style starter and 2 pizzas. Large, fresh, loads of great ingredients and we couldnt finish them. Boxed to go. 80s music in the background had me singing after too many pre-pizza beers at the thornbridge brewery. All in all a lovely meal out. Nothing negative to say. Cheers guys.

Fabulous meal and a wonderful atmosphere . Pizza was fresh and fully loaded to the brim. A couple of Gin and tonics to top the night off and 10% discount because we were staying at Bagshaw Hotel. 'WOW' !! Many thanks. Keyworth Cookery Club. Nottingham

Excellent value quality wood fired pizzas with good selection of Thornbridge beers in bottle plus one on tap. And for the gin folk what looked like a great selection.

We were retuning back to town and it was after 9. This was the only place still open and serving dinner. Was not sure how we would fair considering it’s not the best looking place you have seen. However the pizzas and salads did not disappoint. Both were very fresh and tasty. Washed town with a very tasty local gin. Would recommend this as a nice variety from your local pubs. Very happy with the service as well.

The food here is always excellent and great value (especially the Nacho's!) However: the service can be very variable depending on what night you go. I have been twice this week (because the food is that good!), and one time was excellent (today) and I also went on Tuesday and the service was lacking - no one came to take our order or give us the bill, or bring us our pizza when we asked for it to be put in a box. Definitely give this place a go, it's definitely worth it, however I think a select minority of their staff could be better.

What a find! A small gem of a place in central Bakewell serving excellent pizzas out of an authentic pizza oven. The food was delicious and the staff really attentive. Big shout out to Harry, the pizza chef for his attention to detail, fantastic pizza dough and lovely tomato sauce.

Popped in on the off chance after seeing the menu online. A fabulous meal from start to finish with the company of the manager/head chef Harry, a very multi talented man who kept us company and made sure we were made welcome. We sampled the pepperoni perfection and the garlic pizza bread with Salami.. Just stunning and just what was needed as a late afternoon early evening meal.. Thin and well seasoned bases with fresh tasty toppings.. Also fully recommended the ham hock croquettes with the grain mustard and honey dressing. And of course accompanied with a couple of delicious Gin choices. We will be back, prehaps this week!

Great selection of Gin. Didn't eat but pizza looks good. Lacks a bit of atmosphere and bit chilly in lower seating area. Bar staff could be a tad friendlier, maybe they just dont like Yorkshire tourists!

Cosy little pizza restaurant which also specialises in gin and Thornbridge beer. We booked which I recommend as it gets fairly busy. Staff were friendly and couldn't be anymore accommodating. The pizzas and garlic bread were beautiful and some of the best I have had in a long time. I would suggest trying the garlic pizza bread with caramelized onions, delicious! The gin range was extensive featuring more than 40 different bottles and a variety of tonics to match them with. We sampled 5 on our visit and each was lovely. If you are looking for good value, good food and plenty of choice then this is the place for you.
