Texas Bar & Grill

If you're a smoker/ vaper this is a dream place to throw darts, drink some beer, get a bite to eat, and catch a game of the Texas longhorns or Dallas cowboys. Reminds me of an old throwback bar with music, tvs and the people just simply hanging out having a great time with other people. I'm new to Austin area, but it almost feels like a home bar I'll frequent a bit.

Negative things first, the indoor smoking is a bit to get used to and may not be for everyone, even for a smoker. Now, the rest is outstanding. Probably the best service anywhere in the city of Austin, super friendly and easy going. And the food! The best burger I've had in years, huge surprise. The atmosphere is chill, old school Austin, with a full wall for darts and modern technology, a very well maintained pool table, and everything one needs for a super laid back experience. If you're looking for a hidden gem, look no further. Highly recommend.

Place an order to go as I stopped in while driving Uber.... Swiss mushroom burger and fries. Order came out extremely fast... Service was super friendly and burger was really, really good!!!! Watched Charles Barkley playing golf while I waited for my food .. of course I snapped the picture a little bit too late to capture his image. Ha! There is a ton to do in this bar. I saw what looked like casual dart games going on as well as a tournament possibly? In fact, there were a bunch of electronic dart boards, pool tables, and other various games. Bar is huge! No lack of space here! Absolutely awesome business!

This place has been my bar for years now. The food is better than any other bar food I've ever had. I've tried a lot of the menu and have never been disappointed. They have 10 dartboards and many nights have a blind draw. They allow smoking but their smoke filters get it out quickly. One pool table, poker many nights and many sweepstakes machines as well as a good jukebox you can walk up to or control on your phone. Just check it out!!!
