Terranova's

Terrific local italian restaurant! Passing through and stayed overnight in Athens. Can't remember a better meal on the road. Homemade bread is to die for, and side salad was crisp, cold and Italian dressing was perfect. Can't say enough about our server, Lexie. She was exceptionally personable and always there when needed without being intrusive. Will definitely return again if we stay in town.

Was misplaced on the the text reminder for seating because they couldn't read what they wrote. An hour and a half wait.. but the food was good. Waitress was very professional .. got a few looks when closing time came and we hadn't gotten our food yet , like perhaps they were upset they had to stay. But all in all we like the food and we will be back in the future

I do love this place but I really wish they'd bring back that amazingly divine take on pork chops with the blueberry sauce on them. I know what you're thinking, and I was once too a misguided soul who thought the same until I tasted it, and it's just what pork is missing, that yummy blueberry sauce. I love the bread dip here too!

We did not have a great experience. We were having a send off dinner for my son who’s going overseas for a year and decided to try Terranovas in Athens to support a restaurant near us. When we arrived, there was about a 45 minute wait which was perfectly understandable on a Friday night. When we were seated, we ordered a bottle of wine and appetizer. This is when we began noticing a slight annoyance that we were taking too long to eat and leave. We felt rushed the rest of the time there. By the time we finished our meals, It was around 8:30 so not terribly late. The food was fine and nobody was outwardly rude. We just all felt like we were annoying the restaurant staff by being there. When you’re trying to celebrate a special night and spending money, that’s not how you want a restaurant experience to be. Maybe don’t take guests past a certain time to ensure they get finished by 8.

Been there before so looked forward to returning. The stuffed mushrooms were the best. This visit they were bland and the cheese topping cheap and not completely melted. The cream sauces for 2 dishes was very bland. Almost like they are using really cheap low quality cheese in their dishes. Need to add more flavor. My cannaloni was ok but nothing to rush back for. On a high note was the bread they provide before the meal. Very good. But...Be a while before we go back.
