Timberline

This course is absolutely beautiful and one of a kind. I was nervous to play here based on the mixed reviews and the fact that I was taking my 6 year old aspiring golfer with me, but we had a great experience. The staff was very kind and professional. Prices were reasonable based on what I'm used to paying. Some of the fairways are a little tight and the greens are very challenging which added to the fun of this course. We went out in the late afternoon (6 pm) and we weren't rushed at all even though we weren't playing very fast. Can't wait to go back.

This is the most beautiful, well cared for golf course one could ever hope to enjoy. Their little restaurant serves the best, tastiest hamburgers I have ever eaten. I cannot say enough about it. Greens are exceptional, fairways are bordered by wildflowers and trees, which add a bit of a challenge. I travel from California just to play here.

The landscape is beautiful and the owners are so kind. We take a trip here almost yearly to enjoy time away with our extended family and have an amazing time. I definitely recommend if you’re looking to go on a family trip to a cabin/golf course or looking to find lodging outside of Yellowstone National Park.

Rude, rude, extraordinarily rude. Bonnie and Carl will be nice to you so long as you pay them and give them business. It’s all about money for them. We are having a hard time understanding how they have earned even one review that describe them as nice or sweet. Were assuming it must have something to do with them putting on a front to keep business. Would recommend giving business elsewhere as they are far from kind and seem undeserving of business for their rudeness alone.

For anyone reading, this is a great place and the owners are great. If you go there planning to disrespect the place/people or not follow simple rules, then I'm sure you wont feel the same. I have personally seen many people act like they own the place and that they can do whatever they want. There are policies in place for a reason. If you want to camp at a place that will value YOU'RE privacy and not allow people to drive through the campsites unattended this is the place for you. Prices are good, place is maintained well, staff is very respectful. If you want to treat the place badly don't go.

I never go online to write reviews but wanted to go out of my way to write one here. I read through the reviews first and it made me feel better knowing that I wasn’t the only one that was treated so awful. There are plenty enough 1 star reviews to show that there really is something off with the owners. Just plain selfish and rude individuals that don’t have much care for anything except your money. Take any kindness they may offer with a grain of salt. The review explaining how the owners were talking bad about them behind their back when they thought they couldn’t hear doesn’t surprise me for a second. Will never come here again, and will only ever recommend people away from it.
