India Garden

Everything about Indian Garden is amazing. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious (we tried a lot of different things and ate family style, appetizers, mains, and desserts). The atmosphere was so comfortable and the service was phenomenal. I HIGHLY recommend Indian Garden. It's definitely going to become one my new go-to places.

I was vacationing with family and wanted to try something different with the children. Although my father’s family are of east Indian heritage, I was not raised culturally as an Indian due to my mixed heritage. I thought this would be a great opportunity to expose my kids to their grandparents culture. So I ordered the usual Items that I thought they would like. Such as, chicken Tika Masala and Tandoori chicken. When it was time to order for myself, I asked the waiter to order what he would eat or what he thought was their best dish. I didn’t know what I was getting myself into. After a while the kids meals came out. The look on the faces were priceless! They were pleasantly surprised and happy. The smells and flavors were out of this world! The garlic nan is to die for! A few minutes later, my meal came out. To my surprise it was Lamb chops. I thought to myself Lamb chops, I don’t eat this. Buttttt OMG! What an amazing dish! My family all sampled from my plate and were evenly more amazed! At this time they wished they were having what I had. We ended up sharing everything together. It was an amazing experience and wonderful first meal in Ashville. Thank You India Garden for cultural culinary experience! I highly recommend the lamb chops!

We went to India Garden recently at the recommendation of a friend, and it did not disappoint! We've never seen Aloo Banghan before so had to try it. Hands down new favorite eggplant dish (maybe all time favorite Indian veg dish??). We also had Jalpari and Tandoori Mixed Grill. All amazing. We will be back!

The lunch buffet is great! They even have excellent salads: chick pea, cucumber, veggie with tasty tomatoes. Better salads than any other Indian buffet in town. Very good hot dishes too with lots of veggies. It includes papadum too! Friendly staff and good service. The price is a little higher but the parking is free and easy. If you like Indian food, come here!
