Bistro On Biltmore Estate

You have a lot of restaurants to choose from when you're on the Biltmore property, so if you're looking for more of an upscale dining experience Bistro would be your choice. We opted for dinner before an evening Christmas tour of the Biltmore House. Bistro opens at 4pm. MAKE RESERVATIONS! We reserved early seating via guest services, but we could have done this via Open Door, as well. Our service was excellent. The dinner was delicious. We paired our meals with wine from the Biltmore collection. The Hunt (wine) was perfect with our steaks. 2 glasses of wine, 2 salads and 2 steak entrees brought our bill a little over $200 before tip. The experience of dining on property before the evening Christmas tour was well worth it.

Our dinner choices.... escargot, French onion soup, Caesar salads (one with chicken, the other with salmon) and mushrooms pappardella to split. Simply Fantastic! Thank you, Natalie and the Bistro!

This place is a well-oiled machine. Had a wonderful experience with everything from making our reservation, to dining, to our server David who was very attentive. All of our dishes from starters to entrees were timed perfectly. We got the mushroom rigatoni and the lamb and both were incredible. It was a neat environment where you can see the kitchen. Really loved it. We’ll be back! Thank you!

It's expected that any restaurant in the incredible estate would be top notch and that is exactly the case with the Bistro. It was a lovely quiet romantic atmosphere. The wait staff from beginning to end were helpful, friendly, and just on top of everything. We never had a want for anything but also didn't feel any invasion of space. The food was out of this world, their gluten free options were wildly delicious and my country girl heart was delighted they had Venison and sun chokes, I could eat this every day. My partner has the special which was a 58 day dry aged bone in ribeye. He was exceptionally happy with it and was kind enough to share a bite and it was also perfection. I may have to move up here to live closer to this restaurant.

Visiting from Mississippi. Wonderful experience. Our waitress was Danielle and she was absolutely wonderful. She deserves a raise/promotion. The food was phenomenal. I grill steaks at home twice a week and the ribeye was cooked a perfect med-rare. The special was a shrimp pasta. You could tell the past was made in house. It was all full of flavor and you could just tell with every bite that the people preparing enjoy what they do.

Outstanding. We ordered the chorizo stuffed chicken breast and the sorrel creek trout. The presentation was picturesque but the flavor was mouth watering delicious. For dessert was Oreo Cheesecake, best I have ever had! Look at the picture at how they dressed it up. Emily, the general manager, will help with serving when needed, what a great boss she is. David was our waiter and offered exceptional service.

Beautiful restaurant. We made reservations for a nice dinner after the wine tasting. The French onion soup was mediocre, I tried it after reading reviews that it was “to-die-for”. They do serve some wines they had at the tasting including the dessert wine. The ribeye special was served to us and they plated the sides for us each separately which was nice. Service was great and we were too full for dinner. But everything was delicious
