Sunshine Sammies

I love Sunshine Sammies. They have delicious vegan ice cream for me and my husband loves all the flavor options of the dairy ice cream. They also have a couple gluten free cookie options and quite a few regular cookies. Their portions are generous, too. Every time we’ve visited, the service was so friendly and they are super helpful with food allergies.

Great Wedding Dessert! My husband and I got married in August, outside, so we wanted a fun and cold dessert! We immediately thought of Sunshine Sammies, because we already love them so much. Having the Sunshine Sammies truck come out to our wedding was such a blast! It was easy to communicate and coordinate with their team, and we were able to offer a wide selection of made to order ice cream sandwiches for our 100 guests. I wasn’t blown away by this place. Cookies were cold and hard. I have been to other places where the cookies are much better. They were out of a lot of the cookie types even though we’d gotten there 2 hours before they closed. Sandwiches are larger so you are definitely getting the bang for your buck. If there isn’t parking available in front of the store the Biltmore parking structure done the street gives 1 hour free and is a quick walk.

I give this place points for uniqueness. It's something I haven't experienced before. Custom ice cream sandwiches on fresh baked cookies. It was cool. I had a soda float with soda I couldn't find in my area. Aside from that I wasn't blown away with how cool the building was, how neat the interior was or anything like that. I also wasn't disappointed, it was just a good place to grab a quick treat while we were in between stops in the area.

What a delight! My husband loves ice cream and ice cream sandwiches. As someone who is gluten-free and dairy-free, I haven't had an ice cream sandwich in a LOOONNNGG time. Was so grateful to find a place that has options for me! They have 3 vegan ice creams (vanilla and mint chip are GF) and GF peanut butter cookies. Husband had regular cookie dough ice cream with chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich and was in heaven. We will be back!

My husband and I have had the packaged version in Charlotte at the White Water Center. Since we were visiting Asheville, we decided to try it fresh! Boy did we not regret it. Our Sammie’s were delicious and fresh! We are so glad we came to try them. The only thing I could say that was challenging was the flow of the line. As you make your way down the line you order your Sammie towards the end, but the pick up area (and bathrooms) are at the front of the line. Not to mention there is only one way in and out. Since it was so packed it was like playing human bumper cars. If we are even visiting again we will definitely go again.

We are the happiest people in the world. Wanna know why? It's because we found this place!!! Yup you heard me right. This place is amazing absolutely T Totally amazing. A place where you can get ice cream sandwiches and they be the size of a softball. They are so good and I've been twice now and gotten two different kinds and both were so delightful. My girls and wife were so amazed aswell and just loved the taste of them. So I'm telling ya when I say you don't want to miss eating here. It will bring the kid out of you from years ago. And your kids will be the happiest in the world.
