Masala Express

Today I decided to try this place. I have to say that I was impressed!! The food is absolutley delicious! I am a foodie and have tried many Indian restaurants and this place is amazing. It looks like a eh ok on the outside but the gold is in the food. I love it and will definatley be frequenting this place. It was served hot and tasted fresh. The Naan was unlike any I've tasted. It had a slight garlic butter or oil brush on it and was hot and soft and delicious. I will definalty be recommending this place.

This little spot makes some if the best curry you can find in Lyon Park. Fast, friendly, great price, great food. COVID protocols are in effect, but that is not a problem- definitely makes you feel safe. I recently got the butter chicken and garlic naan- so good! I can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

We did not eat here. We were looking for dine-in and it turned out to be a take-out place which was totally okay. However, we had taken an Uber to this place and asked the owner if we can wait inside till we figure out where to go next and call another Uber. Within 2 minutes he told us that he wants to close the place. Could he not have waited for 5 minutes? He forced us to stand in the cold before we could get another Uber. This is the minimum level of courtsey expected from anyone anywhere. We are his country mates from backhome. His place literally runs on customers who are mostly Indian. Pathetic experience. Pretty sure the food would be as stinky as his attitude. Glad we did not eat here. The place looked like a mess. No wonder this place is at a dark and dingy corner!
