Backyard Bbq

The food tasted very nice here (although it was a bit on the pricey side), and the decor was nice as well. The people who work here are also very nice. It would be nice if they had a better drink selection. I had their pulled pork sandwich, macaroni and cheese, and sparkling water. They were all good and they have generous amounts of sauces to put on your food.

No matter what, you're taken care of. Great customer service and great meat! Like... Look at this Mac n brisket! I already took a few bites but LOOK AT HOW MUCH YOU GET! Like... I ain't a small woman.. I like food.. and even I'm like "good gawd look at all that!" It's good, it's smokey, it's cheesy, it's REAL pickles, and food coma inducing. I'm at work, this was lunch, and I don't know how I'm going to make it through the rest of the day after this delectable dish... I need a nap. ❤️ Will buy again. Support small business y'all.

Took my visiting family here and everyone got something different and not a single complaint. Classics like pulled pork and ribs were excellent. They have some classic sides with excellent flavor. Also tried the Texas caviar which is a vinegar based bean salad and loved it as well. Staff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Overall the BBQ has been very good here, especially the pulled pork BBQ and the jalapeño grits. I recently ordered a Turkey platter with pulled pork as an addition. We could not tell which meat was which!? The Turkey was dark mostly skin and fat with very little meat which was sad since this was for a non-pork eater. The pulled pork was not “pulled” but chunks of pork. I was a bit baffled and disappointed since we took this home and discovered too late the meat was not as expected. I will NOT order takeout again because they seem to have become undependable. . .

Full disclosure, I'm originally from an area between St. Louis, Kansas City and Memphis. Those are my favorite types of BBQs and that important to say because I have a confession. The Carolina Gold sauce is soooooo good. I never like Carolina BBQ sauce! We ordered delivery tonight (a Wednesday) at around 6:30pm. This is the 4 person family meal and the two of us have plenty of leftovers to make 3 more meals! It's very risky to go all in on brisket if you haven't heard word of mouth or sampled the goods. It's either a home run or you go hungry. So we opted for the following: Smoked Pulled Chicken Burnt Ends Cheesy Jalapeno Grits Coleslaw Mac N Cheese Potato Rolls The pulled chicken was incredible and they provided enough for 4-5 sandwiches. The burnt ends were a little hard and fat not rendered down. Maybe they were cooked too quickly? The sauce on them was perfect! I'm a big fan of another places burnt ends (Kansas City style) but they are over 40 miles away from Arlington. Cheesy Jalapeno Grits are awesome. I would love to have those for brunch when hungover! Mac & Cheese is exactly what you expect. And a touch salty, which I like in sharp cheddar mac. Coleslaw is top notch. Very summery. We will definitely order again! That smokey heat is so good. Also, the amount of sauce is incredibly generous. We won't need to buy bbq sauce for a while.
