Home Run Pizza

I was super excited to try homerun pizza only to be very disappointed. We got the pizza delivered only to have it luke warm. Crust was soggy (the bottom of the crust seemed like it wasn't cooked enough), hardly any sausage (and paid extra for their homemade Italian sausage), and didn't get the cheese pull others seem to have in reviews. I called and was told to ask for less mushrooms next time because that's what made my crust soggy (I never asked for extra mushrooms so being my first time ordering not sure how I'm supposed to know that) ended up getting a gift card for part of what I paid for the pizza.

Nothing special here. Average pizza. Go to Frank's or stucs. They ask if you want homemade sausage and fresh mushrooms without telling you that they charge extra. Their prices are high. I called for a large half supreme and half Hawaiian and they told me the pizza was 34 dollars. I will never eat there again.

Super bummed! We like to try new pizza places and this one looked promising…. We got three different kinds - Alfredo, bbq chicken, and deluxe… I absolutely love thin crust pizza so I was super excited! I picked up the pizza - that staff there are amazing. For $45 I was expecting really awesome pizza. These were only the 9inch pizzas. I got home and opened the boxes up…. My boyfriend and I were SUPER disappointed. Hardly any ingredients on the bbq and Alfredo. Deluxe was actually worth getting. I enjoyed that one.. The others had like maybe a few pieces of chicken and maybe a few onions. The staff is great, and super nice… the pizza…. Meh. Was still nice to try a new place around town.

Delicious food in a clean restaurant. Friday fish fry dinner was awesome. My wife and I ate here for our first time tonight. It was a very pleasant surprise since we only go to the same three restaurants in Appleton. Home Run Pizza was a delicious dinner. Their menu is fairly priced and has a variety of pasta, pizza, fish, salads, and appetizers. I got the haddock and she got the pizza. She loved the pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was a pretty long wait for the food but it was worth it. I can tell it’s fresh fish and homemade sauce. Great place to eat!!! Try it once and you will go back for sure!

If we go out for pizza Home Run is our choice. We always get the 12" pizza which is just right for the 2 of us. Thin, crispy crust is just perfect. The toppings are plentiful & nice stringy cheese as it should be. Service is friendly & welcoming. The owner is always visible & you can tell she is very dedicated to pleasing her customers. We were here on a Sunday night & happy to see that many people have found this "hidden gem" . Give it a try & support our local businesses.
