Papa Johns Pizza

Only put a star so I could write this review… Do yourself a favor and go to Marcos pizza or Pizza Hut! Ohhhh Papa Johns… We ordered 1 large 3 cheese 1/2 pepperoni and jalapeño (extra jalapeño duh) and the other 1/2 anchovies, bacon, pineapple and tomatoes (extra tomatoes). They delivered us 1/2 pepperoni and other 1/2 pineapple, tomatoes, bacon andddd black olives… When we called the restaurant back, they said it would be an hour! I didn’t ask for my pizza to be made wrong… the manager stated “I don’t know who made the pizza”… do you not have a schedule to reference?? It is absurd that I am put in the back of the line because of someone else inability to read or make a pizza. The manager should at least could of offered to coach the employee who messed up so bad… take accountability for the screw up. Now it has been over 1.5 hours since we called papa johns and guess what lol noooo pizza.

Very disappointed. This is a sad excuse for pizza. Their goal may be to see how little cheese they can put on the pies and still call it pizza. The pepperoni has a cheap flavor to it, almost like a hint of bologna to it. Compared to the other big chain pizza shops in the area, Papa Johns is weak. I'd choose Dominoes over this. Better yet, Marcos is better. But it definitely worth spending a few more bucks and going with something like Jets or one of the independent pizza restaurants.

I ordered a large pizza from this location. When I picked it up, I asked twice if it was large as it looked small. They confidently confirmed it was “Large”. But I measured it when I was back home but it was a medium size. I called the location but the manager there rudely hung up a phone call when I explained it. I will never try this location again.

I don’t know what is going on with this location as I usually didn’t have any problems. Recently we have been waiting 2 hours for delivery. Fine, I get places are short staffed etc. However, even after 2 hours, we were still given the wrong pizza. It was someone else’s custom pizza not even close to what I ordered. If we have to wait that long, I would hope to at least get the correct order. The box label was correct, but the wrong pizza was thrown in the box.

Used to be a great PJ location. Now, sorry, just a sorry location. Corporate should shut them down and retool the staff and mgmt. Order claim 30 mins delivery yet if you're lucky, you may get your order in 1-2 hours. No call from the restaurant, no apology, nothing. A few minutes late? Sure, we can all have grace for one another in these trying days. But the pandemic challenges have been with us nigh on two years now - so they should have figured out how to have their e-commerce team provide accurate delivery times - and the local team to provide HOT pizza, not lukewarm at best.
