Soul

This was my first time at Soul. They only have dine in at the bar due to lack of help because of covid. Once they get more servers and kitchen help they'll open the dining room again. The bartender was friendly. He showed me different dishes, explained how everything was made in house. The food was good and presented well. The Mac and Cheese is to die for! Soul sounds like it would be amazing to go at summer time. The bartender said they have outdoor seating and music in the summer months. Next time I'm back in the Annapolis area I will stop in again.

Pretty good restaurant with super friendly staff! Ordered the fried pickles as an app - I felt the batter could have been more seasoned but they were okay. Ordered the corn carbonara as a main and it has potential but I think more bacon needs to be added and thoroughly mixed with all ingredients to balance out the sweet corn they use. Getting sweet corn was definitely a surprise when expecting something savory but I’m glad I tried it.

I really like this restaurant. The food and service is amazing. They will quickly get your order and make your food. The food is also delicious. The flatbreads are a necessity and I got shrimp and grits to eat which were very filling and very exquisite. Overall this is an amazing restaurant and a great place to bring anyone from children to distant relatives.

The ambiance was great for COVID...nice patio seating, good parking. The staff was attentive and friendly, thanks Margaret M! Food was excellent and hot. Oh almost forgot I had a spiked chai tea, cause it was a little cold but it was great mix of chocolate and spiced rum and butterscotch (which I hate) but this drink was delicious as well. Would definitely recommend. The prices were reasonable and the portion sizes were a good amount.

Nice place, away from the hustle and bustle of the Annapolis Mall area. Full bar and outdoor seating. Patrons should know all items are "small plate". Some dishes are better than others. The salmon, brussel sprouts, and cornbread are excellent. The barbecue sauce on the Memphis Ribs is reminiscent of ketchup.
