Pepperjacks Subs

Oh wow, this was good! This was my first time at Pepperjacks and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was prepared fast and service was very well organized. I got the Blue Burger sub and everything about it was on-point. Old Bay and vinegar for the fries is it’s own 5-star item. Very well done! I did not try a milkshake but saw a few customers with one and they looked great. I’ll be back here for sure.

This place is surprisingly tasty. I'm not sure where they are getting their bread from but it's very similar to typical New Jersey hoagie-type rolls and it really elevates the whole sandwich. I've tried a couple of sandwiches and each one definitely is worth going back for, and I also had the Reuben which is served on really good marble rye. I can't forget to mention their fries are really good (and they'll make them extra crispy for you!) but be prepared for an excessive amount of fries. Not an obscene amount like 5 Guys, but enough fries for you to turn the sandwich you bought into dinner later if you decide to conquer the fries first - I find is so difficult to sacrifice hot, super crispy fries over most anything. Oh yeah, the milkshakes are enjoyable as well. This is definitely a go to place for lunch.

I ordered 2 subs- a cheeseburger sub and a grilled chicken sub. They both were just barely edible. I could have made better subs at home. The meat on both tasted prepackaged and definitely not fresh. I agree with the one reviewer who likened the chicken to prepackaged Perdue. I also noticed there was no food aroma in the restaurant. Maybe they use microwaves for everything. I wouldn't be surprised.
