Subway

Place was well lit, cozy, and is updated. Food was good, bread was fresh and we had no complaints as far as food goes. I had a double teryaki with veggies and ceasar dressing, my wife a steak and cheese with veggies and ranch dressing. NOW, THE ONLY COMPLAINT, AS PER THE 3 STAR RATING, all went good when making the sub TILL the guy decided to use the knife to fold our sandwich, he wiped it on his apron, his very very very very dirty apron that is. It had all kinds of dried and crusty sauces from him wiping dirty knifes on it all day!!! People have no common sense these days, I hope the owner reads this review and corrects this issue, otherwise i'll never eat here again!!!!!!! I'll drop by randomly and i will look straight for the apron, if its dirty again, ill drop my review to a 1 star and leave never to return, so ppl, KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE "ARTISTS" APRON AND KEEP AWAY IF DIRTY!!!!!!

Please note : No complaints on food. Its regular subways food and taste. However, the hygiene is a word these people need to understand and practice. A large red plastic bucket containing dirty liquid and some wipes placed right on food counter, dirty tables and even dirtier restroom. Though the person who was helping customers was very friendly and polite, he was probably was not trained well. Now coming to food, they were out of spinach, veggie patties, choice of cheese limited to just 2, out of pickles. I am not sure it was just the wrong timing or it's normal. Easy access , ample shared parking. I have to say this ; the elderly lone gentleman at the counter was extremely friendly, polite and apologetic.

The staff here are always friendly, always smiling even when the line is out the door. They do a wonderful job making the sandwiches to perfection. Both my daughters are picky eaters, but they always finish their subs from here. Location is always clean and easy to find in normal traffic off of Ann Arbor-Saline Rd. Get Subway from here every time I'm in the area!

I just left this subway location and watched this staff professionally and skillfully handle the customer from hell. She was very demanding and although asked for a foot long with both halves made very specifically and differently the staff remained friendly and made her order exactly as she requested. Even after this customer snapped at them for not making her sub fast enough, left then came back in to yell at them for something else she deemed wrong the staff never faultered in their customer service ability. I would highly recommend this subway as the staff will be professional and friendly even of you yourself are a horrible jerk.

I was just here at this fine establishment before my Monroe girls volleyball game hosted at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor and the young man with the shorter dreads (Term ID-Trans# 1/A-182208) I think I heard the crew say his name is Chris. His shift was supposed to end at 5pm. One of his other coworkers was just getting back from his break or coming in and Chris stayed over his shift to take care of my order and stayed very professional/patient with me and his coworkers because he was the only one behind the counter at the time. He had extordinary customer service and went over and beyond for me to make sure I was content before he left. Thank you Chris and the Ann Arbor/Saline Rd. Subway for this experience I will be back the next time I’m the area. Happy Customer. -Zach
