Loves

Met someone here to make a Facebook Marketplace deal, we were meeting halfway. Gas cost slightly more here than surrounding gas stations, but not horrible. Good selection on drinks, snacks and other random trip items. Store was clean, and laid out in a seemingly organized fashion. Card reader failed when I tried to check out. Cashier tried the other one and it worked.

Customer service was decent and for that, the one star. However, the salads in the cooler had not been visually checked as I purchased 2 that were inedible. Pics provided. Also, there were pkgs of chicken that were not expiration date tagged as other Loves do. At my mentioning of this, only one was located with a tag that would be expiring the following day. The manager on staff at the time spoke to the employee over my head as if I was not there and he did not bother to apologize or see if any in the back were dated. Poor management, and lacking of leadership skill from him were quite apparent. Doubt I will stop at this Loves again.

I give this place one star because of Tim Sell. Literally preys on the vulnerable single women who work for him, texts them and allows them to emotionally confide in them, establishes trust, and manages to take them out for drinks, get in their houses, and all in all tries to get in their beds. I worked here and was young and at the time one of the vulnerable girls who fell for his games. He was let go, but since nothing was done he now works elsewhere in a management position with the same opportunities. I'm very disappointed that this behavior was permitted for so long. Cameras are checked enough to see that he tugged girls (teens included) hair. Mind you, he is a 50 some year old man. I unfortunately learned all of this the hard way and it'd be nice if companies like Loves actually put a stop to this behavior instead of allowing these predators to move on elsewhere.
