Used the Skittles area for a farewell function. Alan was great throughout, food was top notch and really well priced. Staff was friendly and made us all feel welcome, defo recommend and would use again

We were invited to join a friend for Sunday lunch, hadn't been before. Pub looks a bit unprepossessing on first impressions, but the staff were friendly and our roast meal was delicious, as was dessert. Reasonably priced and we will definitely return! 😊 …
Sunday lunch was good value and all those in our party felt all roast meats were melt in the mouth.
Only two negatives a) two of our party had to interrupt their meal three times so that people could access other tables or the door. B) no deserts!!!
This is a proper old boozer. Old fashioned in its decor but I like that. The service is always quick and staff are friendly. Nice outside seating area too. The menu has something for everyone and the food I had was quick and really lovely. The menu is well priced too. Lovely village pub
