There are many restaurant type areas in the Amherst. Almost of them are used for social activities as well. They are not just places for eating. They are a social institutions. The Amherst Pub, as i have observed, is different in a sense that many local people used to come here for chat chat. I have seen UMass professors also frequently used to come here on one specific time in a week at least.

Great place with great food made from Scratch. Great bartend named Jose made my lunch very delightful as well he was very helpful with making a selection off the menu. Service with a smile the way it should be. The fries are delicious made daily

Great service. The food tastes Awesome. Clean tables and very polite and knowledgeable wait staff. No brainer when it comes to finding a place to eat. Try the chicken caesar salad wrap... With or without onions,

For being a "pub" the food is actually pretty good. Beer selection isnt to bad and mixed drinks ( no matter where you go ) really depends on who you get for a bartender.

Seems to put a smile on my bride's face whenever we have a date night here. The kitchen could have taken their time once or twice. I've ordered an appetizer a time or two and had my meal brought out before we even took one bite of the appetizer. Would not be an issue normally, but the fact that the building was mostly empty at dinner time meant they were just not paying attention to ticket times. Felt rushed. Food has always been tasty.
