Bubs Subs

I know a few restaurants here in Algonquin that have subs, but not as good as this spot. Even though I just went to this restaurant for the very first time, it does not feel like it because the sub sandwiches were so good. I am also glad that I stumbled upon this spot. It is a good thing that I drove near the place, or else I would not have been able to discover it. The place is clean, and it is not a big restaurant; it is small and more like a good spot for a quick sub. The service is great. The staff inside are very friendly and accommodating. The service is also quick. Their menu has a bunch of options for preferred sub sandwiches and more. The prices are also reasonable. I got the Italian beef, and it was huge, with a generous portion of beef. It tastes good too, and a single order is enough to make me feel full and very satisfied. I think it is very reasonable for its price, considering the portion and the taste of the Italian beef. It also tastes fresh, from the bread to the beef. It was just so amazing, and I will definitely be back.

My first time coming here although I've driven past it numerous times. So here's my first impression. The place is small but so are a lot of other places. It has nice older pictures hanging on the walls, and decent enough seating for those who would like to dine in. The service I'd say was exceptional! Friendly staff all around, and definitely made a great first impression. They all knew what they were doing, made some chit chat while I awaited for my order to be complete, and just seemed genuinely friendly. I just wish I had cash to give a tip for their service. Next time I will make up for it as long as they continue to provide the great service they did for me today. My wife ordered the Godfather sub. She absolutely enjoyed that sub, and I ordered the Club Bub. The Club Bub is a basic sub with ham, turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon plus anything else you add. The bread is crisp on the outside and fresh on the inside, and the cheddar cheese gave this sub a great taste to it. I hardly tasted the bacon, but the sub was quite enjoyable. The Godfather sub consists of Mortadella, Spicy Capicola, Genoa Salami, & Provolone, & anyhhing else you add. My wife did enjoy her sub although she wanted a little more spice to it. We will definitely go back.
